Uhh, you really should get a dictionary and look up the meaning of "Not being paid by the Houston Rockets". Last time I looked, Ellie was an assistant coach for Dallas and Juwan is on the Mavericks roster. And if you truly believe that the collision bewteen Hayes and Howard was intentional on Howard's part then there's no hope for you. Honestly, you guys go out of your way to find things to whine about. The Rockets just scored their biggest win in YEARS and yet you are posting this kind of stuff.

I really like this TEAM!! With Yao, we're more of a post style half court offense. Without Yao, we've become more of a hit the open perimeter shot offense. During this streak, we've started and finished hard. In the latter part of the streak, we haven't had a 2nd half let down. We simply play hard at the beginning and every 5 minutes, we're increasing our lead. The Rockets are really fun to watch!! I also think the signing of Justin Williams will help us in the playoffs.

Is David West playing the next game? He sat out the last one with a rolled ankle.

    Awesome, awesome!!

To the haters who say that we won because Dirk didn't play....HELLO, Yao didn't play either.

    :)

    I love it!

One of the greatest wins in team history. Just incredible. This team is playing better right now than perhaps at any time in the TMac-Yao era. Can this continue? They are on fire. An amazing run.

The New Orleans game will be interesting. If we win, how will the naysayers spin that one negatively?

"“They just outworked us — to a man, every position,” Mavericks guard Jason Terry said. “That’s something we can’t allow to happen. ... They’re playing well together right now, but at the same time there’s not a team we can’t beat.”

    Uh...except the Rockets of course.

    :D

    More hatin'

    http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2008/writers/chris_mannix/03/05/rockets.mailbag/index.html

"Does all this change my opinion of the Rockets' playoff chances? Ehhhhh. Houston benefited from a fairly easy February schedule (though, as one Rockets official pointed out, so did the Lakers). The Rockets' March slate is anything but easy: They will face all of the other top West contenders, with a home game against Boston mixed in as well. A mid-March stretch of four games in five nights against the Celtics, Hornets, Warriors and Suns -- the last three on the road -- will be especially grueling. It's still an uphill battle."

Keep it up oh great minds of the media!!

and also, the more we win the more sad I am, because just IMAGINE we'll be on top of the world if Yao was still playing...I don't think we gonna lose a game, all the way to the championship...

The stat that may get lost in the hoopla is they only committed 5 turnovers in the Dallas whooping. Three of those were Bobby Jackson.

These Rockets are fun to watch.

From the Dallas Morning news readers comments section, LOL.

"Tracy McGrady is apparently on a major power trip after the NBA granted his wish to suspend Dirk for tonight's game.

You folks might not believe this, but my possibly imaginary sources inform me that T-Mac wrote a note to tonight's refs. I managed to obtain a copy of it.

*Erick Dampier sets moving screens. He should be called for a foul every time he sets a pick.
*Jason Kidd palms the ball all the time. He should be called for traveling at least 10 times tonight.

*Josh Howard is a habitual hand checker. He should be called for a foul every time I try to take him off the dribble.

*Avery Johnson uses derogatory Cajun terms when he hollers at you guys. You should slap him with a T every time he says something you don't understand.

    Love,

    T-Mac"

    :)

There was one red flag this game and that was the fact the offense stagnated when t-mac when to the bench in the 2nd qtr.
