I don't know about you guys, but I have a good feeling about this game. The Rockets can finally show the world that they're legit this year. If we beat them tomorrow and again next week...gadamn...we're a force to be reckon with, not to mention Yao's not even back yet. I'm not trying to get my hopes or anything, just saying I have a good feeling for tomorrow's game. Maybe I shouldn't have jinxed us by posting the same score 98-90 as our last game, but it was all in good fun/luck as the first person to reply to the Grizzly's game thread guessed that score...and what do you know, he predicted the right score.

    GO ROCKETS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We can win at least one of these 2 games.
By the way, how come Jason Terry can be in the all star 3 point contest? He's worse than Head for both percentage and 3 pt made :(

    Who's hot: Tracy McGrady

If you look at the season averages, he's making only 69.4 percent of his free throw tries. However, over the last five games, McGrady has hit 82.9 percent from the stripe. In addition, he's shooting 44 percent from 3-point range during that span. "McGrady's a handful," coach Avery Johnson said. "I don't think we've guarded him yet since I got here." ... Dirk Nowitzki is rolling after his fifth game of the season with at least 30 points, 10 rebounds and five assists. He scored 38 points on 14-for-20 shooting Wednesday. ... The Rockets have won five of their last six, which almost matches the Mavs, who have won five of their last five.

    Who's not? Rafer Alston

It looks bad that he's shooting 38.3 percent over the last five games. Then you notice that he's shooting just 36.8 percent for the season and realize that he's on a hot streak. It's a good thing he's toned down his street act. His point guard skills have evolved to the point where you can live with his faulty shooting. ... DeSagana Diop had five fouls, one rebound and one point against Memphis on Wednesday and will need to do more with both of the other Mavericks centers injured.

    Injuries

Mavericks: D.J. Mbenga (right knee) is out; Erick Dampier (right knee) is questionable.

Rockets: Yao Ming (right leg) and Bob Sura (back) are out.

The Rockets have proven themselves this year. Whether they win or lose tonight, does not a season make. What does matter, is that the Rockets are a team. A team of players committed to doing whatever it takes to win. They all know their roles and do not allow the need for personal statistics to get in the way of performing their jobs. Van Gundy prepares his team well, both mentally and physically. He teaches them that the difference between losing and winning in the NBA is small, and the team that wants it the most will usually have it. He teaches them that excuses, such as injuries, are nothing but crutches for a team that does not have the mental tenacity to fight harder, play harder, and overcome adversity. So even guys like Bonzi learn that the team is supreme. The Rockets are a thing of beauty. TMac in the paper today said that the Rockets know that if they do the things that need to be done they can beat anybody, anywhere. And Right he is! Our Houston Rockets are making us proud. ;)

I'll be heading out of Houston to Corpus Christi around the time the game starts. Anyone know what radio station I can catch it on once the 610 signal fades out? I'm desperate to listen to the whole game. Thanks in advance.

i really want to see some more tmac throw downs. the past two games he's had some nice ones. i'm been loving it. hopefully he times them right. during a 20-0 run sometime in the game would be clutch. it'll happen.

Tonight if you are dallas you have everything to lose and little to win.

1-If Dallas wins but the games is close, Dallas loses because Yao was out.

2-If Dallas loses in their oun crib, they lose big time.

3-If Dallas wins big time, so what, Yao wasn't there.

4-If they tie, then you play over time and dallas loses because Yao wasn't there.

    Go Rox :D :D :D

Just go to the person's message you want to quote and hit on the reply button ( its on the right ).

Anyway go rockets. If Tracey plays like last time and the others show up, we have a big chance of winning this game.
