I agree, I think we CAN take any team, and it will be great to get the big fella back and make a run for the rest of the year.

As for Bonzi, I just think the team would be better off with Snyder in his role....he brings an entirely different dimension and quickness on the perimeter which the Rockets desperatly need.

A big game choke should also be bad when Dallas loses by 20 to someone else or us, right?

We have to remain balanced here. Its not a good sign for Phoenix to lose the way the did either. Or the Spurs. Or the Lakers.

ONE GAME. This isn't the NFL!

Everything that happened tonight is correctable, the team let momentum take the game away from them.

I just hope we rebound and hammer tomorrow night's opponent.

I would like to see the lineup of Yao, Bonzi, T-Mac, Synder, and Battier for least one time this year.

I agree whole heartedly on this. He brings size and much needed athleticism. I love his D and I love how he is relentless to the rim. If he just had a mid-range shot.

If he just had a shot at all. But his size and energy are a big plus

Agreed. Just look at how high he jumped for that last dunk. He could be a very solid player off the bench. Just need to shake off the rust.

    EVEN IF WE DON'T...WHO CARES?

Look at the BIG PICTURE. Its a work in progress. The eye on the prize, my peeps. Three seed! Three seed! Yao healthy! Yao healthy!

PLAYOFF RUN! BEYOND THE FIRST ROUND.

Its still February. Nobody is going to remember this game in mid-April.

    PLAYER GRADE COMMENTS
    McGrady B- Incomplete
Battier C Good D, Bad shooting
Howard C- Gave his all but no shot and poor D
Mutombo C- Foul trouble and not enough effective minutes
Alston B- Incomplete, shot well, not very good defense
Hayes C Missing gimme layups, effective defensively
Luther F Horrible shooting, horrible passing, horrible defense
Snyder C+ Incomplete, poor shooting, but potentially better
Lucas D Selfish, too much dribbling and looking for shot
    Padgett C Blah
Novak D- Missed one shot and horrible defense
VSPan B+ Improving, ran the offense, no turnovers, played great defense, played within himself, and took good shots

Van Gundy C Stuck with Luther way too long when Luther was turning the ball over and missing shots, keeps letting JLIII play dribblemania out there and being selfish

And I suppose TMac brings up the ball and is the point forward?

JVG does NOT want Tmac bringing up the ball unless in key situations or TMac happens to get the rebound and wants to go fastbreak, or maybe Rafer is trapped and TMac has get it across the 10 second line. You're not going to see a lineup without our PGs.

Well at least he played MUCH BETTER than JL3 !!

    Lesser play minutes (6 vs 9); Higher FG% (2/3 vs 2/5); more assist # (2 vs 0), more rebounds (2 vs 1).

It was mentioned in a Chinese web article, that JLIII got ahead of VSpan cos he did much better public relationship wise with management and Jeff Van Gundy than VSpan. So other than shoe-shining, JLIII ain't better than VSpan.
