We are going to lose...our guys are going to start out slow and sluggish...

    Dallas is motivated...

Hopefully Rondo doesn't put doo much defensive hurt on James..

    Dallas 120

As much as I hate this, Mavs have a bounce back game tonight..its just for some reason this always happens to us. Hopefully I'm proven wrong.

I wouldn't say its a must win, but we certainly want to make a statement that were not messing around. Hoping we rout Dallas..

This always happens with trades. Hope the team can get this W. The Mavs shot a horrible percentage last night in OKC. They will not shoot bad tonight. The team better by ready and focused from the start.

I absolutely hate it when we play a team that is coming off a loss, and playing us on the 2nd night of a back to back. Teams (especially good teams) tend to be much more focused.

Tonight is going to be a really tough game.

or maybe it's just Portland and the Clippers, teams that we would be coin flips against even without that preceding loss.

I will be missing this one and catching the DVR'd replay tomorrow. I hope we smash those guys.

With no Dwight, defense has to be razor-focused to limit the Mavs' elite offense. If the defense shows up, the offense will follow.

But it's an important game with regard to the standings. If the Rockets win, the Mavs will have 21 losses to our 17. And with the season series clinched, we'd effectively be 5 up in the loss column with 28 games left(the Mavs would have 25 remaining). That wouldn't guarantee we finish ahead of them at season's end, but it sure would increase our odds.

We already blew a similar opportunity against Portland a couple weeks ago at home. Let's not blow another one tonight.

Rondo did a good job on Harden last time. He really got in Harden's grill. I really want to see Harden light Rondo up tonight.

Dallas is my ideal 1st round opponent right now. But if Harden struggles again vs. Rondo, I'd start to get a bit worried. It also depends on the way Harden struggles. If he misses open jumpers because he's just rusty off the break, I'm cool with that. But if he's struggling to penetrate and do his thing because Rondo's harassing him, that's an issue.

Big game for James. Big game for the Rockets. Let's go.

    Nobody can guard James.

    He truly is un-guardable.

What are his splits with 3 days rest and more? It seems to me that James does very well when he has his legs under him.

Harden also bumped knees that night and was not himself in the 4th quarter. Plus the refs allowed Rondo to be extremely physical with him. He was pushing him all over the court and never got whistled for a foul. You let anyone play James like that and odds are they'll hold him well below his scoring average.
