Green was 4/7 today.

 

I was really excited to see Jabari's strong midrange play in the first quarter.. but surprised he can only add 2 points (?) in the last three quarters.

The lead was lost when all the subs came in during the second quarter. And when we were in trouble, Silas subs in his mandatory Bruno to come in and play him 3-4 minutes, instead of Sengun. Jabari, Green, Sengun came in again way too late..and they went cold after sitting too long. It's just crazy like there is a signed contract before the game on how many minutes a player should play , no matter who is hot! The lack of stagger between KPJ, Green, Jabari etc are concerning.

Well, another lost for the tank!

i missed the game.. wow I thought Sengun cleared up his backne.. Sengun too special to have an imperfect back.

Iam tired watching this....25-5 fast break points. there is no developement, nothing.

 

How can our transition defense be this bad. Do our guards know that they have to get back after we shoot? I think Dallas had about 14 point just from long full court passing.

 

I blame Silas

 

It seems even upstart coaches let their ego get in the way because they should be bringing Gordon off bench in limited action to help anchor the goon squad if they are going to sub out the starting backcourt at same time

Also they should be playing the young players heavier minutes barring foul trouble

 

My question is how can this happen over and over again?

 

KPJ got mad at Bari for not seeing him open on the wing, but KPJ does that 18 times a game.

 

I don't recall wanting him fired, at least not with the same passionate intensity like I do with Silas. Could be wrong though.

 

Guess we left that defense first mentality at the door and resorting back to our old ways, which while normal for a young team need to be addressed as soon as possible. For the tank it helps that we have Silas, but I want a new Head Coach almost as much as the #1 / #2 pick. It doesn't help that we don't have a PG either. That much has become obvious. I'm 100% done with this backcourt duo or even KPJ as a back-up PG, he can be our SG off the bench with TyTy as the PG for now. Next is we need Gordon traded, he seems disinterested and does not have what it takes to be the veteran we need on the court. Off the court he might be solid, as we've seen with his post-game praises in the locker room. As far as the game goes, solid catch and shoot three point shooting from KPJ again, Jabari's ability to kill the zone and Tari's hustle.
