Nice move by Silas to disguise idiocy as racism.

I am pretty sure the term racist is frequently thrown out there.

There was a time when half the league didn't trust Euros.

Jalen and Jabari somehow being "on pace" for a big game only to end up with their same total as half time is a phenomenon I haven't seen in my years of watching basketball.

    Nice loss.

Good showing from the cornerstones and both CHA and SAS won tonight, so our seeding improved.

Defense is and always was going to be a problem. That will improve over time with experience and when we make some personnel changes.

Team has too many mouths to feed especially non the court at the same time. We need to consolidate talent that requires ball in hands. Eric Gordon should first go. KJ Martin doesn't need to ball in his and to be effective. So that's one less mouth to feed.

Also most of our primary scorers who needs to ball are never staggered. Our bench is a barren wasteland of self creators.

No matthews, no eg. That's 43 minutes per game there. No nix as well. I would still give JC more minutes. I don't know what the deal is with him. I am not really happy with him when he is in. Tunnel vision and not mature game. but it is the coaches job to improve him. It seems stupid to give up before even trying, and having spend so much time on nix.

And no more fives with just kpj or green out there without bari, sengun and green/kpj. EG has the green light to spam those fives with his drives and it serves no purpose other than eg waiving his hands after the turnovers or 28 ft 3 pt shots.

I'm really glad I came to visit my folks in Mexico and have been able to take a break from watching the Silas led team with KPJ as the franchise.

Seems like it will be a good break for my mental health.

"Our primary scorers who need the ball" i.e. Porter and Jalen. Which means Porter. At this point it seems (much like with Wood last year) that were stuck with....whatever the hell this is.

My concern is genuinely for next year where I feel like Silas is going to be doing gymnastics with the roster trying to make it as easy as possible for Porter to "do his thing". Part of the reason I want the #2 pick so I don't have to watch KPj anymore and won't have to worry about a player who has a body type that history has shown can't hold up in the NBA.

dallas been doing quite good lately with wood starting. guy provides range and rebounds and his defense ain't too bad. the presence of wood makes life easier for luka and enables dude to gather triple doubles for fun, including the historical 60+20+10.

Why is Luka so boring to watch?

Green still seems to struggle getting past defenders going one-on-one.

Jabari's mid-range shot is looking great.

For you historians out there - first time anybody's mentioned holding on loosely since 2007 and the first time it's been dispensed as words to live by

Jalen being able to go by defenders is the least of his problems lol. What are you referring to?

Those possessions in the corner where there is zero spacing and no room to operate with the defense playing zone?

Also, and this is 100% true, rather than watching another depressing ass Rockets performance i went back to my book - a graphic novel adaptation of Octavia Butler s Parable of the Sower (think "The Road" but even more depressing)

I do not care about Sengun fouls he needs to play until he fouls out. We needs the minutes to work on his game but Silas do not play him as the other starters, his minutes are always at a minimal as a starter

Not sure if there's anything more uninspiring than watching the Rockets play:

    KPJ overdribbling
    Green bricking 3s
    Usman shooting 3s
Unimaginative lame 5-out offense which encourages selfish ISOing non-stop

Luka was getting the Jordan treatment from the refs I see last night. Apparently looking at Luka is a foul.

If we can't score efficiently we can't win.
