Damn shame. We can't live by McGrady's jumper b/c we will die by McGrady's jumper. His shot is just not that consistent and today he wasn't even finishing layups. Where's doublehh03 saying the new offense gives McGrady getter shots? Still think so?

    We are losing our DEFENCE.

    We are losing our DEFENCE.

scoring 98 is not that bad, but losing 107 is not so good.

btw, I don't understand why Yao only shoot 12 times in this game, everybody knows there's no center in Dallas, one year ago Yao scored 36 helping us beat Mavs. But tonight Yao barely had chance.

T-Mac shoot a little bit too much tonight (31+5), 35 points with 36 shooting. maybe he should share the ball more when he's not in his rhythm.

It's so sad to see losing a game this way.

Guys, stop crying about Yao. He got enough touches, but was doubled IMMEDIATELY or the entry pass was tipped away. And they were not relinquishing that double team as guys like Wells were not hitting the open 3's given to them.

And as for T-Mac, I ask again- Why haven't they been using him off ball like in first 2 games? I liked his agressiveness until the end of the 3rd quarter when he went to jumpshot-only McGrady.

I absolutely do not buy this "Yao was doubled and therefore only gets 12 shots argument." News Flash: Yao was doubled every game last year and he managed to average 25 ppg and get to the line a helluva lot. How? By Re-posting. Yao does jack in the high post. Absolutley squat. HE wastes time and encourages bricklaying by the Rockets guards. Tonight, Yao should've been posted, re-posted, and then posted up some more. Rather than have Tmac jack up 30+ shots and dig us into a hole.

Games like this will eventually get Francis a shot.

If he gets in shape, I'd like to perhaps see him take over Head's spot.

yao needs to be in the low post more and he should be more agressive. diop had zero fouls and logged in 39 mins, which didn't help. tmac needs to shoot better and so do the bench.

The most serious problem is that when Yao got doubled he passed the ball but our wide open guards couldn't score.

Completely agree. The bench and PG play cost us this game. I didn't realize they had one assist a piece.

Yep, McGrady was 4/11 with 8 points in that game and we trounced Dallas by 40. They didn't even have injury excuses or anything.

If McGrady is going to play like Kobe, why the hell don't we trade for the real Kobe who is better?

If Yao were Shaq he'd flame McGrady to a crisp in tomorrow's paper.

WE WANT STEVE! Why not giving him a shot when MJ and Rafer both sucked today?

Last quarter minutes of posession was crucial and needs to work on Mr Adelman! Commit to many turnover but then again we are on a learning process. But man first test was'nt that bad with a contender team. Oh and my advise to Yao better sleep to your other room in the house, so you won't be lacking energy during the game!

Okay, seriously. You YOF's and TOF's should just shut about how and who should get the ball and whatnot. IT AIN'T GONNA HELP. And we seriously need more optimists on this board btw...

No, doubleh3 is talking about McGRady's 'desire' and other intangibles now. It's OK if we lose when Tmac turns into ME-Mac cuz he 'wants to win' (as if the other Rockets are in cahoots with Donaghy and want to lose....) Oh, and it's Yao's fault that we lost because Yao got doubled and couldn't physically force the guards to re-post him.
