Guys, stop crying about Yao. He got enough touches, but was doubled IMMEDIATELY or the entry pass was tipped away.

And as for T-Mac, I ask again- Why haven't they bee using him off ball like in first 2 games?

do people still believe rafer should not close out games? MIKE JAMES is the one that LARGELY contributed to our collapse, due to pivotal turnovers. rafer would not have made lazy passes

    Dear Tmac: Get Yao involved.

Dear Yao: Attack the double team.

Dear Bonzi: Post up... its your strength. Stop jacking up shots.

Dear Rafer: Punch Terry in the face and get tossed. I miss Bob Sura.

    Dear Scola: Learn P&R Defense.

Dear Adelman: Teach Scola P&R Defense.

if TMAC and other could look for big man in the late 3rd, we might have 10 points lead coming to the 4th....

Absolutely right, but there's an addendum: the team MUST BE COMMITTED TO FEEDING HIM. If he gets a double, repost him, or triple post him.

To quote Walt Frazier.... "The bigs are starving, since they haven't been fed." Yao will go home very hungry tonight.

I think I just saw the t-mac in the 7-th game against dallas a couple of years ago. Take the ball, jumper, miss. Take the ball, 3-point, miss. When will he wake up? It's his 10th season?

    During crunch time,

Yao still needs to keep his turnovers in check.

Tmac still needs to keep his jumpers in check.

When it gets tight, we can usually expect one of those two if not both.

I am not upset about the loss, as much as at these continuing patterns.

Oh, and someone please make that last minute Rafer Highlight of fugly shot and rejected layup attempt. If anyone ever defends him, just slam those 10 seconds in their face.

Two players that should not be blamed:

    Yao and T-Mac.

Yao played well, they doubled him, and he passed out. I do disagree with anyone that said he didnt' get enough touches in the 4th, he got the ball plenty but couldn't get off a shot due to the defense that was played.

T-Mac played as well as you can expect, slightly below average shooting (but come on, we're only talking about ~3 in and out jumpers at the end of the day that would seperate bad shooting from a good shooting game) but he was agressive attacking the basket and when possible, finding an open cutting teamate.

Rest of the squad is what let us down and cost us the game.

We played well through three quarters. I loved the dunk from yao: maybe the most intensity I have seen from him. This team is very good, we just made some bad decisions down the stretch. We did not capitalize off of Dallas' foul trouble. We should have gotten up more during that stretch. My main complaint of this season is the awful pick and roll rotation. Is it just me or does anyone else see this as a problem?

Tough game, it was right there, and Jason Terry rescued it for them, you would think they would have taken the ball out of his hands...earlier but whatever.

Also, we stopped attacking the basket and their zone bothered us...got to get Yao or Chuck to the FT line and attack from there.

Either way, we lost to a less than full strength Dallas team, but we will get better.

problem exposed. Lacked of crunch time PG who can dictate the tempo is the leading cause of all the 4th quarter meltdowns this team has for all the years.

What a dramatic game. I completely agree with everything Bill said about championship teams needing to execute down the stretch. We're not a championship team at the moment . But don't worry. The Rockets are the Rockets.
