I think what can sum up the game for us was people stop going into Yao down the stretch. The guy was hitting it at a high %, why go away for him in the second half??? Even the commentators said Yao didn't get enough touches. The team turned him into a passer. If we're gonna go deep, Yao has gotta be dominant again like before.

again, i'll blame this loss on tmac completely. mainly b/c he was the only one wanting to win this game. outside of yao who couldn't get shots b/c he was doubled, the role players played scared a lil. yao obviously should shoot more but he was doubled.

but i was happy w/ how tracy played. this is the new tracy. he's going to WANT TO TAKE OVER. he failed tonight. but there are more games.

and people want to blame tmac for over shooting, and yao for under shooting.

lets look at the supporting cast.

If he played the Rockets every game he would go 12-18 hell like Bill said he'd be a hall of fame player if he played the Rockets every night. He is a Rocket killer if there ever was one.

Yao is far from dominating in this system compared to JVG's. Guards here overhandling the ball too much

Guys guys guys, only change we need to make is get Rafer out. Its all fine and dandy when we play weak teams but against elite teams, we can't let their lethal PGs attack us all day without making them play defense. We need to teach Steve Francis how to inbound pass to Yao and then start him instead of Rafer. Thats the only adjustment we need to make to get to the next level. Its not only the offense that Franchise brings, but also the rebounds!

So true. Those kind of turnovers (which Rafer screwed us with last year in the playoffs) can completely turn the game around. Thats why I think Tmac should be the one bringing the ball up.

Because he had a "bad Kobe" game, while Yao shot 9/12 from the field and wasn't getting enough touches. If Yao were Shaq he'd flame McGrady in the media tomorrow.

This is looking awfully like 2004/2005.... Yao is not seeing the ball again. He's still up high too much. He needs to be in the low post and he needs to be fed. To quote a nice line I heard from Walt "Clyde" Frazier the other day on a Knicks game.... "The bigs are starving, b/c they haven't been fed." Yao hasn't been fed at all.

you guys who think YAO should not pass when doubled and struggle would definitely bash him hard after those TOs, it is smart to pass can sometime dunk the **** out of the defenders like he did, however, we just didn't feed him enough in the low post, see his FG% and you will see, we can never reply on T-mac SCORING much against the MAVS,we need YAO at low post and destroy their PAINT!!!!!

Losing to Dallas is always a tough pill to swallow.

However, the good thing is, when the Mavs win, they still lose, since, y'know, they live in Dallas.

    Hi folks,
Its the 3point shooting we can't match them in this area. We have to counter it went dallas are on. We need to get novak into the offense or get another 3 point shooter. Every damn time its jason terry or jerry stackhouse they don't and can't do much else.

FIFTY lead changes and 36 TIES, that is a close, good, game.

just because we didnt win doesnt mean we didnt have a good game. every game is a learning experience for our guys and adelman as well. mavs have the reigning MVP at home, im proud of how my team played them tonight.

Do not blame Yao or McGrady. They played well, really.

I think our bench didn't do a great job. If Bonzi continues to be a shooter I will bench him. Sacla didn't do anythin'. So Mike James. Luther was pretty ok but that a few.

And thank you great refs. HELL YOU

    exactly, it is the difference.

It means our bench is not deep enough.

Head can score but definitely he is a defense liability.

I wish The Dream would just come down and teach Yao how to beat the double teams but Dream did tell Yao that he needs to be more dominate in games. Yao needs to become like our guards just take shots.
