he should have passed a few. but i think tmac really wanted to win this game. i mean all the great players do that at times. but at least we know tmac has that mentality.

that's what i like. it's not that you fail, but it's that you try. tmac tried hard in this game. just make his shots next time and he's fine. he was really aggressive in this game. i like it.

again, i'm not down on this loss. we're a long way from reaching our potential.

so RELAX, listen to me, BREATHE, BREATHE, BREATHE. now think it's only the 4th game learning this system

Last year we would have been blown out by 20 the whole game so I guess this is progress.

He will if nobody defends him. He had alot of good looks. Jet was killing everyone today.

Rick needs to give steve a chance. He aint that fat and I saw his preseason game, he still got hops and can drive to the basket with ease. Reefer gives me a very depressing feeling when hes playing. Hes just not good.

actually most of his shots were contested. and most of them were off rotations in the face of our bigs.

And the plays where Mike James looks at McGrady all the way before attempting to drill the ball into his gut after the defender has already broke was his boigraphy right there.

Alston did what he normally does. James really stunk it up tonight. Neither one of them got the ball to Yao enough.

I agree with you, except that McGrady has been pretty damn good since he's been here. The TMac of last year was a top 5 MVP candidate.

Horrible defense down the stretch. That's all.

gotta love the 4th quarter collapses...

but really, we had a golden opportunity in the 3rd to cushion a big lead when howatd and dirk were out and we blew it.

our bench did not step up tonight.

Agree. They're together for a long time, I mean Mavs. They know each other. They didn't make many changes cause the didn't have too. They're good.

And we need more time to play this offense, to excecute, to play this offense well.

IT is his attitude cost us the game! He thought he was hot tonight and never pass the ball to others when he had a bad shooting night.

Terry got well over half his points while James was defending him tonight.

I blame this loss on Yao.

At this stage in his career, he needs to demand the ball.

He should tell T-Mac, "Hey, T-mac, cut the crap and gimme the fugging ball! You're shooting blanks, partner."

    agreed.

they definitely have what it takes to compete with the mavs. they just come up short mentally.

Scola was useless in defence tonight. He had no idea where he was going, can't blame him though, first big game in NBA. That was some pressure situation that he probably never saw in europe.

Good 3 Qtrs, horrible 4th Qtr.
    Tmac shoot too much.
Yao gets Double Teamed almost every position.

    Princeton? my arse.

He was double team on a lot of occasions. It's not as easy as you think.
