so i someone said kobe was toying with the blazers D next time the lakers faced the blazers, is that a diss at tmac? so next time that i say dwight howard toys w/ the jazz? is that a diss at yao once again.

so from now on i can't comment on any other players who do well v. one team that our players struggle against?

idk, i know of girls who tend to read more into what's there. but hey, didnt know it applies to basketball.

 

The Rockets should extend their streak to 4 and the Mavs will become the Rockets of a few years ago.

 

Stop trying to deny it. You love McGrady and hate Yao. You slipped in a not-so-subtle jab at Yao and got caught.

Maybe you do want Andrew Bynum as your starting center. If that's the case, be prepared to watch Yao dominate in LA.

I too think Bynum has the potential to be the best center --- but hes still years away from actually being the one. Amare's 1st team nba is fair since Yao didnt play much last season. Howard being a star center is kinda funny.Imagine a center who has average scoring and shotblocking ability and happened to grab a **** load of boards(hmmm..like snatch teammates eazy reb? good stuff) being a STAR --- my arse.

IMO, the best way for the Rockets to win is consistently attack the rim, not only to draw the foul or to make the layup, but the Mav's interior collapse onto the single player who is driving in. This can be especially key if Yao is in the game, have players driving in, go up for hte shot, and Yao is left all alone for the putback.

 

SPE, I love Yao as much as you do, but this doublehh dude really didnt mean that. Ive been watching the forum for a while hes opinion has been reasonble.

i agree. but apparently on this board, u can't compliment other centers or according to him. u just can't. i didn't know what i got myself into with that simple comment. i didn't know he was going to extrapolate it into a psychological thing.

 

How would talking about Dwight Howard/Jazz reflect on Yao Ming. Especially with them being completely two different types of players?

No matter what the outcome of the next 2 games are I hope there is no huge disappointment in our first loss with a billion threads about it.

Who cares, let it go mate. Keep going and you will just look like a YOF which is no better than a TOF. We just want the rockets to win regardless of who performs better.

Some of you fans should just enjoy the game and stop laying your love on one player.

with mavs, they win big...with spurs they win, but close..

...of course if they lose vs. mavs, they lose big as well...i'm hoping not..
