Young players are growing, and Fisher bring leadership! Lakers will be a tougher team this season. Of course, Rockets is a much much tougher team! :D

A "trap game" is a game you overlook because you consider the opponent inferior and easy to defeat, and then they come out and surprise you with an upset. A game against Seattle prior to meeting the Spurs, for example, would qualify as a trap game. Not this one.

It is true that Bynum played well... but I see what you're REALLY trying to say. However, Yao has toyed with Bynum the last several times they've played and owned him badly.

why do you always think others are talking bad about yao? if saw the game, bynum did toy w/ their frontline in the 4th. he scored 15 pts in 19 mins.

what else is there to say?

and yes yao did toy with bynum but bynum is still a scrub defensively. i was talking about his play offensively in this game. defensively, he still sucks. and that's why kwame brown is starting.

I did see the game, and what you said is true. But it's about intent and connotation, and the connotation of your words is obvious. I don't have to be a genius to read between the lines and see what you're saying.

Yao toyed with Bynum on offense and on defense. Bynum couldn't score on him nor could he stop Yao. This is not just one game, this is the last 4-5 games against the Lakers. Maybe you really want Andrew Bynum as your starting center, but I assure you he can't hold Yao's jockstrap.

Smiting is correct. Bynum is just matches up badly with Yao everytime they play on both ends of the court. If you were watching the last game, you'd have noticed that Phil Jackson tried to keep Kwame Brown in the game whenever Yao was on the court, and the only times Bynum in with Yao, it was because Kwame was in foul trouble, and Yao was doing whatever he wanted.

where did yao come into all of this? i said the same things what the lakers announcers said. i just wanted to state how the win v. the lakers is not as small as we may think since they have beaten 2 great teams.

and trust me, he's not even close to yao's level if you want reassurance of yao. so please, don't get paranoid.

Yao is the best centre right now. It is unfair to compare Bynum to Yao. But, Bynum is growing. I think he is becoming a star centre.

he's going to be b/c the position is that bad. just the way howard is a "star" center. just the way amare is a 1st-team all-nba.

Do I really have to break it down for you? If you're smart enough to do scientific research you should be smart enough to see this. We played a game against the Jazz a few days ago. A certain Chinese 7'6" center struggled against their frontline, an occurrence that people, including you, are still using as a sledgehammer to bash Yao. Now you make a point of saying that Bynum toyed with their frontline, what could you possibly be saying?

I think it is a more difficult environment for a centre to survive in the league today rather than the lack of talent.

um i said what the announcers said. only a paranoid dude like u would think otherwise. only a paranoid guy like u would look deep and beyond and think of things that just aren't there.

i was surprised at how bynum played and how he DID toy w/ their frontline in the 4th. but i don't think he'll ever be a great player. he showed flashes of this last yr but never developed. but he'll be a good player, nothing more.

These next 2 games are going to be a pretty good gauge for how far this team needs to go to hit their peak. A win tomorrow night is going to go a long way for this team's confidence.

    Rockets : 104
    Mavpricks : 98

You knew what you were saying. Don't try to hide it. You were slipping in a jab at Yao. Too bad I caught it.
