hopefully bonzi will play a lot in this game. he's too strong for howard/stack/harris.

tmac should have an easy time if he has single coverage, IF he does.

hopefully yao will to w/ dampier. but diop, he might have some trouble b/c he's pretty strong.

    Is Harris playing this game?

JJ Barea from what I hear is the real deal, a young Steve Nash

Hey guys, hopefully my first post will translate to a Texas-style-whooping on the Mavs kind of luck. Looking forward to Tmac balanced attack and Yao dominating the paint. GO ROCKETS!!!! :)
    4-0!!!

    Agreed on Bonzi.

Avery likes to trap and double on the perimeter, so he'll try to get the ball out of McGrady's hand. This is why it's important for Yao to dominate in the low post.

Erick Dampier is injured and probably not playing, but you're incorrect, because Dampier is very strong. Diop is big and a decent shotblocker, but not that strong. Yao owns Dampier because Yao still hates him for the "I'm the second best center in the NBA" crap.

    First half:
    Rockets 51
    Mavericks 46

    Second Half
    Rockets 96
    Mavericks 103

Rockets loose in the 4th quarter......Love the rockets but they need a better closing lineup

Unfortunately I live in Dallas now, since June, but, I am going to the game tomorrow night. I'll be in red yelling my head off for the Rockets. its so easy to give crap to Mavs fans, what a fun night it will be. I think we are going to win this one, I love our bench.

Of the Texas teams, I think the Rockets have the more quality wins so far. The mavs have played the cavs, the kings and were beaten by the hawks. So what if you rack up 100+ against the kings? The spurs have played memphis, portland, and sac as well, softballs for san antonio.
Houston's wins against LA and Utah on those teams' home court opening nights are more impressive. The Lakers may not be as bad as everyone says, with the blowout of phoenix and tonight they are holding their own in Utah.

utah is losing in LA. so our road win in LA (and how we led by double digits) is a great sign.

Exactly. I thought they were in Utah, but they are in LA. Still, a double digit lead over the Jazz is a shock. Makes the rockets victory look even better, scary as it was at the end...

Bynum suprises me! I think it may be unnecessary for Kobe to leave.

the lakers do have talent. that's why i'm baffled why kobe took 32 shots + 27 fts vs us. the last 2 games have shown the talent on that team, esp. if they run their triangle offense.

bynum has a future. he can be a pretty good center b/c the position is so weak. he toyed w/ the jazz frontline in the 4th.

i don't think kobe will ask for a trade now. 2 consecutive wins over powerhouses and won convincingly? without lamar.
