    tmac already has 4 shot in the paint and only converted one. he has to do better than that.

    look like avery is doubling every time yao is posting up. this is where the high post is good in that it gives him touches but he ain't making that J but patience

    1 shot attempt so far for Big Yao for 7 minutes in 1Q :eek:

    Is he being double-teamed? Or is he staying on the high post and not attempting to fight his position in the low post?

    A couple of them rimed in/out. So I wouldn't worry so much. At the very least he's trying to drive into the paint instead of settling for jumpers.

    Well at least the Rockets have started slow in their first three games and then came back to win it. Hopefully it will be the same here. GO ROCKETS!!!

    They need to run some plays where Yao quickly flashes into the paint. Then he can get a shot off without the double.

    Another play they can run is the repost to get rid of the double, run a lot last season... for some reason the Rockets have gone away from it.

    The Mavs sure seem to respect Yao's defense a lot. When he's down there in the pain they don't even try to shoot it under the basket.... unlike several other teams, cough, jazz, who routinely burn him down there.

    tmac is faster this year. dirk was out by the 3pt line when tmac stole the ball in the paint and tmac was able to pass dirk.
