We haven't blown anyone out wire to wire yet. I expect it tonight.

 

Isn't that kinda contradictory...blowing someone out.....wire to wire?

Don't know if this was written in game thread but here is an update on the Dallas Mavericks.

Bass out?
Brandon Bass could be a sorely missed player tonight if a sprained left ankle keeps him out. As he limped off the court after testing the ankle during Monday's morning shootaround, he said he wasn't sure if he would play.

Bass has been solid in the Mavs' first three games and the 6-foot-8, 240-pounder would be a key defender and rebounder against the Rockets' big front line. The Mavs are already without center Erick Dampier (shoulder), their best offensive rebounder, and 6-8 Devean George (foot). Devin Harris (thigh) is a game-time decision.

The third-year forward out of LSU twisted the ankle on one of his big blocks in the third quarter Saturday against the Kings. He came back in so the injury didn't appear to be anything significant.

We'll see if he suits up tonight.

Devin a game-time decision
Devin Harris participated in the team's morning shootaround Monday, but he's a game-time decision tonight against the Rockets, who are 3-0.

Harris has a thigh bruise that took him out of the second quarter Friday night in Atlanta and forced him to miss Saturday's home opener against the Kings. The big test to determine if Harris will play tonight didn't come during shootaround, but after when he was headed to do some running.

If he comes out of that pleased with the pain level, then he'll most likely play.

On top of that Eric Dampier as most of you already know is out so if Bass is out, Yao should have a field day against the Mavs once he gets Diop in foul trouble. Just got to watch out for them flopping.

Yao owns Ericka every time anyway. He'll have to settle for owning Diop this time.

I think Dallas will be too stubborn to double Tmac as much as we have seen so far, plus he'll have a lot of help tonight with the screens and our other scorers.

the rox are still a LONG LONG way from their best ball on the offensive end. adelman has said this is not how we're gonna play offensively. so for us to score 97 average (which is JVG's best in 4 yrs w/ us) and we're COMPLAINING, good things are in the future.

now we just need to depend on the defense, tmac and yao (and the 3-headed monster off the bench) to carry us through these tough games.

 

i cannot focus on working already. rox please win. tmac, yao, remember how they stole your first round? beat them up!!!

 

i wish yao gets a tech and elbows howard or dirk in the face.

then mike james bust on devin harris as he flops.

 

Will tonights game be on FSN ? thats the only channel i get in my dorm that plays rockets games.
