They gave him a two year contract so he can relax and just put it on coast...

I have strong sense that we will win tomorrow. Yao should dominate tomorrow, otherwise he must use his right hand too much tonight :D . Ok, enough for bashing Yao. But if we can play the same level of toughness like tonight, we will get a W tomorrow.

This phrase really sounds like a broken record. I will make my expectations every game more realistic now. Tonight's game was encouraging because the Rockets offense looks smoother.

We'll take baby steps every game but I'd expect a 4th quarter melt down tomorrow night again. I sure hope i'm wrong.

    I was kidding.

Camby is not better than Yao either, maybe, and that's a big MAYBE, at this point in this season he's better, but I would bet the Nuggets with Yao would be a GREAT team, not the same can be said if Camby was on the Rockets.

If anyone wants to bash Yao for this loss, that's fine. We do have reason to expect better.

But did anyone catch JVG's comments before the game? That T-Mac being out is actually good for this team at this stage of the season?

Did anyone else hear Worrell say "JVG actually get's emotional when praising Yao's effort this season (Bullard added "he does") and how extending his minutes when he's clearly tired and this is going to help him."?

Well it may, and T-Mac's absence turn out to be a blessing in disguise. But last year Yao was pretty damned good in the 4th quarter and clearly people here have forgotten that.

JVG's running Yao through the gauntlet and not resting him in normal stretches for a 7 footer much less a 7'6 guy. For all the guys that want Yao traded JVG's at least seemingly increasing his trade value because coaches and analysts constantly complain about the way JVG utilizes Yao on both ends of the court.

I think this is JVG's "School of Mental Toughness" and Yao failed tonight. That being said there's going to be a team that figures out how to maximize his strengths and minimize his weaknesses, and I pray that it's ours.

Right now I'm not so sure it will be.

A healthy Camby is better than YAO, of course mostly from his defense.

He had 21 pts, 21 rbs 5 blks and 24 pts, 15 rbs, 6 blocks in last two games!

    My GODDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD!

Meanwhile, the AK47-less Jazz are holding a 13-point lead in the 4th against the healthy sonics in Seattle.

I know! He's on my fantasy team and I think he's the most important player on the Nuggets, but he's still not better than Yao. :p

I guess Nate McMillan was more valuable to the sonics than anticipated.
