Yao is not a clutch player, I actually felt sorry for him tonight in a way. He didn't want the ball. He was tired and combine tired with being nervous and then you have a real mess.

 

Its real simple...The Roxs do not get rebounds because:
1. Yao Can't rebound
2. Swift is worried about being on ESPN's Highlights
3. and the rest of the team is short...

 

I think both. JVG does not know how to best use Yao and Yao does not how to adjust his stamina to the game.

 

although I am YAO fan, but have to say; he played like sh*tty fuc*** 300 lbs stick.


This is it: He will never be a great player

 

He has the stamina of a 70 year old

 

Head showed me what I expected from him if he got major minutes. He is cold-blooded, he has hops, he pushs the ball, makes good decisions, can shoot the three, drives well. If Head doesn't continue to get minutes, then JVG is not as smart as I think he is. This kid is a major talent. He has "IT!" And very few players do.

Ming got numbers, but a disappointing performance. Very poor rebounding, stupid fouls, poor position, faded in the second half, missed several "gimmie" shots that could have made the difference. He missed a great pass from Head because he was in LA LA land. No excuses. Incidently, Head makes excellent entry passes, some of the best ever on this team.

And props to Anderson, his best game as a Rocket, I was ready to cut him last week.

What the heck was he tired for?

What the heck was he NERVOUS for? That's just flat out irritating that he can't achieve MIND over MATTER and just stick it out the whole time he's out there.

 

And thats sad because we could win with KG and if Les is happy with losing then thats sad for us fans....

 

This, too, made me laugh a lot more than it probably should have.

but the weird thing is:

YAO was high percentage shooter in 4th last season, what happen to him???

 

I taped this game, but i'm thinking twice about watching it now. Seeing how angry some of you are tonight, no sense in raising my blood pressure.

 

Well JVG is making YAO play through the fouls and leaving him on the floor longer.

This actually enhances Yao because he has more time to get into a rhythm.

It's mainly Yao's stamina that's the problem.

 

at least go back and watch that stro dunk over erica... and all those 3pt'ers by Head.

Then he needs to go back to China because this is the NBA and you have to be able to play 48 minutes if needed and NERVOUS...WTF..

 

Yao needs a consistent 30 minutes a game MAX to play up to his potential, he's just too damn big to play any more minutes without his game suffering.

 

You really need to stop talking about KG 20 times a day. If Yao plays like that, they won't give you KG. If Yao is worth KG, nobody is giving him for KG. So just forget about the idea. What if we trade him for TD?
