although yao isn't having a good game FG% wise, he can't still be effective. there were more than a couple of times when he had the post position, and the guards ignored him. they should have dumped it in and he would have kicked it out if he found them open. that last 24 sec clock violation was a prime example.

 

We are really struggling against their zone. JVG needs to make an adjustment!!! too many jump shots/3pters, and our fg% is suckin'.


it's getting reeeaaally ugly. i think i'm gonna flip out.

 

can we play any worse?

Watching this game, you gotta appreciate Nash. The way he can control a game and tempo with his solid ball handling is just awesome.

 

Problem is exposed against a good team. Hope they'll learn.

i agree with the announcers on tnt. we can't get penetrate to save our lives!!! on two free throw attempts so far in the half. a frickin 5 year old computer geek with really bad acne has a better chance at peneteration.

damn. this sux. i can't even laugh at my own jokes.

 

yeah, I guess we have had a good run so far in the season, but we are still learning a new stytem and style of play. They can learn a lot from today, even if they loose.

only 3 TO's for Dallas, shooting 50%? Either they are kicking ass or we are putting no pressure on them...

The problem is that we aren't playing poorly, rather we're probably playing about as good as we can. Which is quite sad.

 

I swear to god that Francis is the worst PG at running the break in the NBA.

Alright, here're our problems:


1. Guys Jogging after Ming gets the ball...GET OPEN FOR HIM.
2. SF's unbeleivable selfishness that lead's to his 4 TO's per game.
3. Cuttino Mobley's STILL poor shot selection.
4. Kelvin Cato's insistance on not playing defense.
5. Transition D
6. Uncontested shots, which the Mavs will draaaain.

I'm pretty angry at the Rox right now, and probably expecting too much, and if its any consolation to others like me out there, remember 3 VERY important rockets are out right now...Griffin, Piat., and Taylor...so we're a pretty different team than what we're playing on the court today...but still, defense is defense, and getting hands in shooters faces can be done by a high-schooler, so its mind boggling why our players refuse to do fundamentals like that...anyways, I'm out...good job Mavs, Texans avenge us for god's sakes...

van gundy is sitting down. not a good sign. biting his nails, looking pissed. dude is usually always standing.

 

duh, we're losing...see STAN VAN GUNDY two days ago...

 

when is the last time we had a freakin' layup? all these long range jumpers are killing us!!! why can't we play against the zone? JVG has got some things to figure out, cause this is just sad.

 

The Rox are a short team even with Yao, that's why they will always dribble and pass more to get a good shot. It was like that last year and its true this year. The Rox wont win a championship until they get taller players and get rid of the smaller players.
