    Rox already look much better on D than any point last season vs. Mavs.

    Mavs use screen a lot to free Nash. Got to think of a way to stop that. Dirk will cool down eventually.

    I think the only time guards pass the ball to Yao is when Yao establish a post position and calls for the ball. There are a lot of situations when Yao is is transition and wide open, and he does not get the ball. That implies the lack of cooperation between the guards and Yao. When Shaq is in transition and open, he gets the rock almost all the time. That is a difference between the Lakers guards and the rox guards.

    Rockets look better than last year for sure, but the Mavs are getting ANY shot they want. WIDE OPEN shots and when those shots start to fall this game turns into a blowout.

    Another situation is when Guards or forwards penetrate to the basket, they seldom pass it to Yao when Yao is open. That would be a must for the Lakers. All penetrators look for Shaq ...

    looks like we might be playing tight D at the moment, mavs FG% is only 37%.

    If we keep this up we would hold them to 80 points which would be fantastic

    Nachbar needs to step up like Padgett and show the coach that he deserves the playing time when the "incumbents" come back

    Padgett is 81 in NBA live 2003 (Yao 79, irk 89) that's all I know about this guy.

    So far this game is in the Rox pace. Very good. This team averages 118 points at home. So the Rox defense must be doing the right thing.

    Almost all of Dallas's shots are contested. If they can win with a hand in their face all night, then they deserve to win.

    But they wont :D
