JJ Barea is what scares me, KJ should be in at the 2 to guard him every second he's in and force him to guard him right back.

I hope MDA has a better rotation plan, and that someone told him NOT TO PLAY Brewer or Ennis at all under any circumstances!

A win in Dallas can set us up for the sweep in our home opener.

Dallas will be hungry tonight for a win they looked good offensively in Indiana. We need Ryan Anderson to outplay Dirk. We also need Bogut not to abuse us on the boards. Harden gotta go Jordan mode every night. Ariza/Brewer has to score more than 9 points in 48 minutes.

Did we get our legs back?

Or have they been held hostage in LA?

My prediction is that if Brewer plays, we have a great shot at losing. Let's hope MDA learned from JBB's mistakes last year.

I think the second or third string 5 on that team might be better than Clint and Nene combined. Dwight Powell? They play with force and power upfront. Will be interesting. Even Dirk is knocking people over these days.

You are aware Pat Beverley is injured right? Ennis has to play because he's the only other point guard on the team besides Harden at the moment and plus he showed flashes, I still wish we could've gotten MCW instead but say la ve. He just has to play with more control. I can't understand how the first half was so good and the second half was so bad but MDA needs to figure out his subs and how long Harden is going to sit. I know he played a lot of minutes last season but his schedule worked . It was only the first game so lets see if MDA can make adjustments. I for one am happy with the positive developments that were on display, KJ is an nba player, Clint has gotten stronger although he needs to play like it, he is a defensive force and Eric Gordon (even though he is pissed about every single missed shot) is going to win us games this year. This current rotation will only be this way until Bev gets back, then with Gordon off the bench the attack should be more balanced. I know MDA likes to hide secret weapons until mid-season but I'm hoping we get to see Kyle tonight....cause that means we blew them boy out

I'm not too bothered by the Lakers loss, but starting the season on a losing streak would be troubling. Hope the defense pulls it together tonight.

Not exactly sir. We also have Bobby Brown. Say what you will about him, he is MUCH BETTER than Ennis. Ennis just flat out sucks to me. He probably never has and will never have in the NBA, preseason or regular or garbage time, a game like Brown had in our last preseason game against the Spurs. I would have definitely kept Pablo over Ennis, only Payton sucked as much as Ennis. Ennis literally does nothing good that I have seen. At least I know Brown will get us some points and assists, that's what a PG should do in a backup role.

And if Bev goes back into the starting lineup when he finally gets healthy, I expect our team to suffer for it after Harden and Gordon getting chemistry starting together. Not to mention, that I feel if Bev plays more than 15 minutes a game, he is more likely to have another season ending injury than even Gordon is because of the way he plays. I sincerely hope that we trade Bev and Ariza for an upgrade in one of their positions. I would do both of them for Rudy Gay straight up right now, although I know many would cringe at even that idea. But at least I know Rudy will shoot mid 30's on 3, but more importantly be able to put the ball on the floor consistently and get to the rim to finish or draw fouls, in ways that Ariza can NEVER dream of. Those holding onto the defensive Ariza that we depend on, are living in the past. He doesn't have that anymore. He is just average defensively. Rudy would be MUCH MUCH better offensively than Ariza, and Ariza is only "slightly" better defensively, if at all, currently....not past Ariza.

Meant to highlight this statement in the last post instead of the first sentence.

KJ has to start. We will score no doubt but we need his defensive energy to get other guys locked in.

Two things are gonna happen at 7:30 pm. That phone is going to ring. And second, when Dirk answers, the Rockets will be on the other end to tell him his ass is about to get handed to him.
