We played a perfect/flawless game for 3.5 quarters... and apparently we had zero margin for error.

Yes... if a team plays PERFECTLY for every game, they will never lose. Even the Bobcats can execute a game perfectly and beat anybody. Unfortunately, those nights are few and far between.

Where is Bonzi. He could help rebounding.
I think he is again in JVG doghouse.

McGrady has no more energy left...that's what happens when you play 1 on 5. It was painfully obvious that's what the game was going to come down to at the end: Dallas' depth/talent vs McGrady.

    my thoughts exactly.

when they go small, deke has to come out because he can't rotate against them. this won't happen with yao. why? because yao would score at will against a small line-up. avery wouldn't put his team at a dissadvantage.

we have enough fire power (with yao) to last 3/4. we still need a scorer off the bench like stackhouse.

Any zone is beatable by guys who can put it on the floor, and hit a jump-shot... the Mavs have FOUR players on the court at any given time who can do that (hell, they have FIVE... if they put in George at center).

Is there any way we can trade Rafer Alston? At this point Rafer for a pag of peanuts would be a good trade.

Yup. The Mavs offensive rebounds have killed us. Way to many 2nd shots. We could really use Bonzi's rebounding. And Snyder also.

JVG is going to have to start playing more guys, or else we are going to run out of gas like this all the time, and by playofff time, all of our players, T-mac especially will be worn out. Need to play start playing Bonzi and Snyder.

Shame on Dallas, with so many good players, still let old Shark take the champion away.

Ya, he only had 7 assists  The guy puts up 43 points, dishes 7 assists, and he is criticized.
