My point is this was the epitome of a great benchie/role player. He is a brat, in the best possible way.

This is an understatement...but they looked very, very good last night. The ability to come back against a really good team on the road is striking. I was really impressed with that.

I'm strongly impressed by last night's win. I've been quite the wet blanket as far as playoff talk, but the Rockets really demonstrated a higher gear than I suspected they had. Maybe all the chemistry/gelling talk was on the money.

    Go Rockets!

Whenever Barry is out on the floor it always seems like he is doing something positive. He is just a smart player.

Great game last nite. Perhaps even the best win of the season, considering we were playing on the road against a good team. I loved how even after we got down by 9, we didnt fold and game back strong.

Great win on national tv last night. The team is gelling and is so much more fun to watch than before. If McGrady can keep this up, this will turn out to be a real fun season. It just seems that he makes it so much easier for everyone on the court. All they have to do is take what they are given. Last night was a perfect example. No matter what tinman says, Juwon Howard is capable of nights like that on a more regular basis. Let's hope this is the beginning of a hot streak for him. I don't expect 29 out of him, but 15-18 points and 10 rebounds are not out of the realm of possiblility on a more regular basis. For good or bad, he is the best we've got at the 4. Mo Taylor is done as a regular contributor to the Rockets and I don't think an of us are too disappointed about that. He'll have a good game or two, but he has lost whatever it was that made him a legit NBA 4.

The worst thing that can happen now is to have a letdown tonight against New Jersey, again on national tv (hasn't this been great for us out-of-towners?). They've lost their soul for the season in Jefferson. Shut down Carter and they've got nothing at all.

    GO ROCKETS!

i'm not sure if it was more of dumb luck vs effort/positioning, but i loved how juwanji was getting multiple offensive rebounds. those extra possessions are huge as i know two of those offensive boards led to a 3 from T-Mac and an easy 2 for Yao.

of course it's easy to praise juwanji after he had his best game of the season, but you could really tell his confidence was really high cuz of his PT and open looks he was getting. no hesitation on open J's received from TMac or Yao getting doubles, or open Js from penetration by jbarry, sura, and wesley.

i can't believe juwanji actually took it in strong a few times as well, so it's good he wasn't falling in love with his J. if it's there, shoot it... if not drive to the hole.

maybe the rockets really are starting to gel. i think we're also starting to see the rotation that JVG was envisioning with the regular starters plus mainly Deke, JBarry, and MoT getting any significant PT.

    Great game, great win...

I was in uptown Dallas last night watching the game (Frankies) with my Rox shirt and visor on and it was awesome...Of course, I was the only one cheering for the Rox, which made it that much sweeter...My girl is a Mavs fan so that was bonus...

Overall, decent D, great teamwork and the fact everyone was involved was awesome...This is the Rox team everyone expected...

Great win last night. Juwan Howard showed why he was considered such a highly touted player when he came into the league from Michigan.

As leroy said, we shouldn't expect 20+ points and unbelievable shooting from him every game, but if the guy can get us 15 or so points and around 6 rebounds a game, he is doing his job. Plus that makes it easier for everyone else, especially T-Mac and Yao.

First off, what a win and it doesn't come at a better time with the news "thing are starting to turn around" and playing Dallas and beating them at their own place. It was an all around team effort where everyone had contributed...even Bowen!

Secondly, I think its safe to say T-Mac is our leader now. He was vocal all night in trying to fire up his teammates and succeded. He yelled at Deke for not converting his pass, he yelled at DW and directed him where he wants him on the floor and he even gave Yao a nasty look after he missed that dunk...that just shows how much he cares about his desire to win, the passion for the game and helping out his teammates. After the game, everyone was smiling and hugging each other and I even saw Yao laugh with Deke! Obviously it was an emotional game for them, one they desperately need.

Finally, I hope they keep up the momentum and carry it all the way to the end of the season. I have a good feeling they will do this. My favorite scene in this game was when T-Mac made his last 3-pointer, and the camera zoomed in on his face after the release, he has this relaxed look like he knew it was going in as to say "see ya, you can't touch me". Just amazing.
