Friedman's tweets to a Lin fan who asked why there's no words on Lin's injury: <blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-conversation="none" lang="en"><p><a href="https://twitter.com/oceantradewind">@oceantradewind</a> Please realize that most players are banged up in some form or fashion this time of year and, what's more, nearly all ...</p>— Jason Friedman (@JasonCFriedman) <a href="https://twitter.com/JasonCFriedman/statuses/441294330976669696">March 5, 2014</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script> <blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-conversation="none" lang="en"><p><a href="https://twitter.com/oceantradewind">@oceantradewind</a> teams go out of their way these days to keep injury info close to the vest for competitive advantage purposes.</p>— Jason Friedman (@JasonCFriedman) <a href="https://twitter.com/JasonCFriedman/statuses/441294522136268801">March 5, 2014</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script> <blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-conversation="none" lang="en"><p><a href="https://twitter.com/oceantradewind">@oceantradewind</a> teams go out of their way these days to keep injury info close to the vest for competitive advantage purposes.</p>— Jason Friedman (@JasonCFriedman) <a href="https://twitter.com/JasonCFriedman/statuses/441294522136268801">March 5, 2014</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script> <blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-conversation="none" lang="en"><p><a href="https://twitter.com/oceantradewind">@oceantradewind</a> That is the harsh reality of pro sports in North America these days. he did. But the way the refs werent calling fouls in favor of the rockets (couple time dwight got hacked bringing down rebounds) you have to force the refs hand.

I support him, but what is the point to bring this old article out? He has trained a lot during Summer, and has improved; however, that is of no concern to people now. All they see is that Lin is doing badly on the court, and reasons are being argued, but really most people don't care which side is valid. They only care about the results.
I'm encouraged. This is just the sort of game we'd find a way to lose in the past. A thrilling win against the two-time defending champions, followed by a loss against an awful team that's busy rebuilding. Yet we managed to get the win! Yes, it was a trip watching James step up and take over. That's what superstars are supposed to do, of course, but I haven't seen it happen with the Rockets enough to get used to it. We had a drought for quite a long time, comparable to that drought draining Lake Travis, yet here we are with not one, but two superstars, and sitting at third in the Western Conference, with a record of 42-19. Ain't it a trip? :-D-
I checked out that Magic game thread link that someone posted earlier and they were complaining about Harden for like 10 pages when he went off in the 2nd half. They said his 2nd half would've been the same as his 1st half if they were reffing fairly and weren't calling the flops....did they miss him nailing all those sweet mid range jumpers in Affallo's face? and he definitely got nailed on all those drives. Honestly this was one his loss floppier games. I guess people only see what they want to see.
The alley oops this game were really sick...as in awesome. Dwight with that one handed catch and hook shot on an alley oop pass gave me a flashback to the Ralph Sampson miracle shot but may have even been better as Sampson shot it two-handed. Then, there was the alley oop pass from Hardin from mid-court practically and Howard was right there to slam it home. Good grief...Hardin and Howard are really gelling together now. So fun to watch this team.
I have been watching NBA bb for a long time, but I must say Harden is one special player. Built like a bull, and so freaking skilled in his craft. Every move Harden makes has a purpose. Dude is a true superstar and he is ours! Still can't believe a smart GM like Presti couldn't hold on to a young diamond like the Beard. He traded a diamond for a box of chocolates (Forrest Gump).
My point is exactly as what you mention: Lin has improved. If the coach from D-League was able to see there's a very big difference between Lin and the rest 2 years ago, how much more he is different from them today after all the progress he's made? Btw, I'm not a LOF and so this is the first time I've read this article. I don't mean to defend Lin or anything by sharing this article. I just can't stand some folks keep bashing the players irrationally.
