    The key is that Yao truly led the Rockets (or at least co-led) to 3 consecutive wins. While Kobe's stats are impressive, he also had a sticky finger in leading LAL to getting blown out by the LAC. That is a huge advantage for Yao right there.

    That's it. Marion is the only one that can take it away from Yao and he definitely deserves it.

    Marion only played two games this week... they normally give the award to players playing at least 3 games I think
