Even the Magic announcers are loling...Dwight is getting away with a lot of crap.

Although, him fronting Yao is pretty damn smart.

 

there were 14 seconds on teh shot clock on yao's shot bro. that's still plenty of time rather than getting a turnaround on the ft line.

tracy took a terrible shot. yao took a terrible shot. both were bad shots. bad shots are part of the game.

 

Ball movement too slow

 

The annoying thing is Yao would make more money for the NBA than Dwight Howard by a large margin. So why on earth do they hate on him so much? I mean even Magic fans would have to admit this 3rd qtr has been as staged as it could be by the refs.

 

Yeah, well, 20 seconds into halftime heat checks kinda get noticed a hell of a lot more then random bad shots.

 

Barry needs to get out of there. Adelman is really messing stuff up this game. I mean the second he puts Barry in there BOOM there's JJ Reddick ready to light us up again.

These refs have no balls. It's like Dwight is almost allowed to foul Yao hard now because he knows they wont' give him his 5th until it's too late?

 

exactly all the stern apologists saying that yao should get preferable treatment since he's the source of all the revenue in the league are completely near-sighted to the larger scheme at hand. stern is just exploiting yao without reciprocating him. you think stern wants to have a chinese man as the face of the nba over an american?

 

We are actually number 2 in the leauge in free throws. So why we doesn't get to the line? I hate that. Guards should be more agressive attacking the basket. We need less jump shots and more shots at the rim/free throws

 

There was a push there, after turn around, Yao lost balance. You can blame him not able to convert that one to a pass, but you can't really blame him for trying that shot.

Jack up a 3 wtih 14 sec left on shot clock at the end of a quarter? Plainly un-responsible and stupid.

 

Get over it man. Tmac's shot was before the end of the quarter and Yao's was not, that is a huge difference.

 

i think rafer reads these threads.. he is driving alot to the basket lately just can't finish that well sometimes

 

guards seriously gotta penetrate when yao is getting fronted. Alston is given alot of crap on these boards and he deserves most of it, but he does play pretty smart at times. Yao was getting fronted by yao, so he drove into the lane for an easy floater. if he keeps on doing that, yao will get freed up from the fronting.

 

Yea I forgot RA playing him 30 mins. a game for now. I just hope we can have the lead when Tracy comes back in. He will be fresh and ready to go so that mean we could see another big 4th from him.

 

lol, a bad shot is a bad shot.

i don't mind a star taking a bad shot b/c they're stars for a reason. but be fair in your criticism. i only pointed that out b/c everybody just pounded on tracy for one bad shot (which i agreed was a bad shot), but nobody said anything about yao's bad shot.

just be fair in your criticism and nobody is gonna point those things out.

 

lol, he was foul on that 3 as well. you don't care about his 3/5 from the long range. the one shot made him the worst player, right?

 

Rafer penetrates better than anyone on our team right now. Unfortunately, he shoots too many floaters. Hit it that time.

 

If there's another no-call against Howard, it would be worth it for Yao to get a tech just to prove a point.

 

No call on Dwight for that... Unbelievable.
