shooting can indeed be improved...but can a height of 6'5 at shooting guard be called "height"?? those players can be found everywhere...Garret is not a point guard and aaron is not a shooting guard, so just because hes taller doesnt mean hes tall for his position which is a much more important consideration. Mensah-Bonsu is the tallest at 6'10 does that mean you automatically choose him over all the other guys???

I watched only the first half and.

    1) I am really dissapointed with our offense. That's not how upteampo teams play. We didn't really look to push the ball and damn we had few chances to do that. What guys did was to run the ball quickly through the halfcourt and that for no reason they slowed it down. We have to find easy buckets, we are not gonna be very succesfull with halfcourt offense.

    2) Defense wasn't good at all either. Carter got 2 WIDE open dunk in a row after a pick'n'roll. No rotation defensivly, we were not connecting and talking.

    3) The refs are not allowing teams play. I can bet money those refs will be gone after preseason. People don't pay heavy dollars to watch their players shoot free throws...

Once Adelman cuts down his rotation that will change, guys are shuffling in and out and there is no chemistry, offensive chemistry comes quicker than defensive chemistry.

    Battier will also help...a lot.

    That's true.

The only problem will be refs. They have been horrible so far. I'd love to see Yao playing now. Those old refs did not give Yao any calls. It would be interesting to see them handling all that 'Yao stuff'

He did not. Even if that was true he would not answer either imo. Or maybe he doesn't even know that.

    That's how I see it.

    1) That's a bullsh!t

    2) Tracy was feeling really great so he decided to do it on his own (I mean the MRI). The results were even better than expected so he decided to show it to the team. As we all know they are being extremely cautious. But after seeing him do the things he is doing they realized he is really ready and they're giving him 3 weeks to really try to practice every day, etc. If there's no setbacks, he'll play.

    3) Afrer seing him doing really well during rehab/practices they decided to move the MRI from 23rd. Results were very good so if nothing happens in 3 weeks and he'll be able to practice and do all basketball stuff every day without sitting out, he'll come back earlier.

I don't know much, but in my opinion the date really means nothing. It's more of a day-to-day situatuion and there is a good chance he may be back earlier than 23rd.

Very likely. But I'd like to see them handling Yao on the offensive end. All those elblows, 2-hands fouls, pushing, flops, etc.

Bill Worrell mentioned it during the game. He said McGrady had just had an MRI and everything looked good. He also said Tracy had a hell of a practice. He ended by saying McGrady is about 3 or 4 weeks away.

That's why people can't just say "we'll pick him up from the D-league or Europe." Who says he will be going to those places? Conroy clearly has NBA talent, and there are a lot of teams still looking for backup point guards. The Phoenix Suns need someone consistent to backup Nash b/c Dragic is not cutting it; also Miami and New York. I wouldn't be surprised he if is picked up by an NBA team and turns out to be something special, then we will be kicking ourselves.

Wow, so that's true. Thank you, that's a hell of an update. That means he is practicing now, I guess with the team.

The guy is really doing his best for a strong come back.

Yeah I agree, these refs would foul out an opposing Center in the first hakf based on the type of soft fouls they've called

too bad Yao got hurt in the wrong year.

Damn, this would have been a good year for Yao Ming to dominate.

    Yao Ming
    52 Points
    44-50 FT
    4-4 FG

Bingo. We dropped Kelenna Azubuike three seasons ago after an impressive showing. At the time nobody cared because they wanted to save that spot for Sura's comeback rather than give it to a 3rd string SG. But Sura never stepped on the court again and Azubuike turned out to be a really solid player.
