Did Budinger play almost 40 minutes?

He is been playing over 30 every time since summer league. For me is clear that RA have already place him on the rotation for the regular season. His defense have been ok to good. Definitely good enough to play him vs NBA players and his offense, confidence and understanding of the game is already NBA ready.

For me he will be one if not the first man of the bench opening night, no need to send him to the D-league. Great pick Morey, Great pick.

Taylor look a lot better but I think he need some time on the D-league before thinking of rotation material, but promising he is getting more confidence.

I think I'd trade just about anybody save for Brooks/Scola for Gortat.

Taylor did look better. But I don't see any way Budinger doesn't get 15-20 minutes per game this season.

Does Gortat have a consistent jumper? I forgot.

Chase is the best player on the team right now.

He is going to play a ton with McGrady out, and hopefully traded.

I just wonder, does he have all star potential?

JT has all the tools, and the right mindset. Morey has found two gems in a crappy draft...

Taylor is explosive but like Chase, he doesn't have very good handles. Plus he still hogs the ball and makes poor shot selections. But he had a relatively good game

Chase held his own 1-on-1 against Vince Carter tonight, keeping him in front of him consistently. He just needs to get in a lower stance like he did tonight and he can be an adequate. defender

Ariza still can't do any offensively. Yet its clear the coaches are designating him the role of being the main playmaker even though he can barely dribble

Kinda weird that a 2nd round pick is the best player on a professional team.

I still think Scola or Brooks is the best player on the team.

Conroy's a keeper. BTW, are we going to see Beck at all?

To me, right now, this looks like our roster:

    1. Aaron, Kyle, Will
    2. Chase, Jermaine, (T-Mac)
    3. Shane, Trevor
    4. Luis, Carl
    5. David, Chuckster, Cook, Pops, Joey, (Yao)

That's sixteen souls, including the injured Yao. Does Yao count as a roster spot this year? Am I missing someone? Look at that Center Committee-- who gets cut or dealt?

Anyone else notice how Cook's been stepping up? Heck, he drew a charge tonight.

I was fortunate or unfortunate, depending which way you look at it, to see the last quarter of the game.
I saw very little of the team game, a lack of passing to the open man, much hogging of the ball with individuals trying to demonstrate their own abilities.
It left much to be desired!
Coach 'A' and his Staff have a lot of work to do! :p

Chase is definitely ahead of Ariza does Adelman have the nerve to bench Ariza and start a kid with zero NBA experience and no ring like Ariza.

Yeah, either He's a great STEAL or our other players suck big time :D

Seriously though, every once a while, you see players like Josh Howard, Boozer, Mo Williams (funny how majority of this list = players we hate the most) fall into the 2nd round and then prove that those GMs who didn't pick them are idiots :)

Yeah I'm not getting a good vibe on Ariza's role on offense. Limited offensive skills player who tries too hard at times to not appear that limited.

Chase looks really good, has looked like the most confident player every night.....he is a serious keeper for a LONG time.

One other note from tonight's game: Matt Barnes is evil.

3rd Quarter was the best stretch by the way. So I guess you were unfortunate in not seeing how efficient we can be when we play as a team :)
