Glad to see Lin finally had a good scoring game.

Agreed here. That play where the PG comes down either side and hands it off to the SG and the PG stands in the corner has never been successful with this team. The SG gets stuck and swings it to the other side, and the team tries the exact same play. The end result is a guy bricks a contested shot with 4 seconds on the clock. Come on McHale. You should be able to see the failure of that play as a coach.

The basic P&R has been effective though. Both times, Lin passed it to Asik who then passed it to TJ for an easy dunk or a Martin shot. The Lin and Asik P&Rs are effective because both Lin and Asik are good passers. That play where Asik faked the pick and then Lin drove to the rim and then finally dished it to Smith for a dunk was sweet.

McHale needs to run more Lin-Asik P&Rs because the end scorer usually is someone else other than Lin and Asik. That much ball movement means open shots.

Read what I wrote! I didn't say that was the only reason; you are reading too much into it. Man, Lin lovers are getting too much even for me who is a Lin fan. Geez . . . I have to say Lin lovers are as bad as Lin haters.
