You can not be serious. The Rockets will be just fine. Let's concern ourselves with the now. Take it one day and one game at a time. The Rockets will be something special this year and it will not surprise me if they do make the finals this year.

I am not 100% certain but I believe players under contract with an NBA team must play for the NBDL affiliate. The Austin Toros are the Rockets' NBDL affiliate. Players not under contract can play anywhere.

So Jermain Oneal has been more durable than Yao in the past few seasons or what? Or maybe we should trade Yao for that caveman in LA? Trading for dirk or Howard is next to impossible. Those are their franchise players...

This post is going to be in Clutch Moments next June when we are taking home the trophy.

I am not able to watch the game, and when I read the news that Yao's ankle was sprained, I came here immediately to check out whether it's serious or not, coz I know there are a lot insiders who can always give logical and truthful information. But it's really DISHEARTENING to see this trade talk here!!!

there are still major flaws with this team

synder- Byron Scott was right, he is a ballhog, once he makes up his mind to drive to the basket he just will NOT pass even if Novak and Battier are wide freakin open

Novak - he's a keeper

battier - he's a keeper,however he lacks rebounding/height/vertical to be an every day pf

yao - feet are injury prone,still foul prone,

tmac - back is injury prone,terrible outside shooter,borderline ballhog

vspan - dumb decisions, just look at jvg's face when vspan has the ball, he can't shoot from outside and is a turnover waiting to happen

lucas- just terrible defense,very very short, will be abused

juwon - time has passed him by

mutumbo - old, but he's on a good contract

wells - what a joke. if there isn't a trade in the works then the rockets really have a bonehead in this guy, oh yeah, did i mentian he's a terrible outside shooter

jacobson - will be cut

hayes - extremely extremely foul prone, and gets abused by centers, can't shoot outside to be the right pf, basically has no spot on this team other than to take minutes from juwon
