I'd say he has done a fair job on dwights post ups, had dwight played 38 minutes it would have been a massive problem but i still think he has done a decent job.

 

Props to the organization, Patterson is nails.

 

I've been watching the game very close, especially that matchup. Twice Dwight tried to spin on him. Hill knocked it loose once, and the other time forced him into a uncomfortable shot. Every other time Howard was outside of the circle aka the area he can't really score at.

Howard scored those points also on Miller.

 

You getting too bias now on some players. Howard had fouls trouble in the 1st. What did Hill do against the backups like Bass and Earl Clark? Nothing, he was getting owned. He gives us no defense. He has low BBall IQ, helpside D and bad defensive awareness which his why we get burn soo much off rotations.

 

Howard is having an off night.

Man this was going to be the special season and now where is Morey to get something done. This month is going to be tough and that is why Morey needs to make some deal to get C, if he waits till the trading it will be to late.

 

We really really really newed to upgrade over Hill and Miller.

 

Hill barely played against Bass and Clark. Bass kept getting lost by Scola and Clark abused Miller.

 

I think we could trade Scola and Keep Patrick Patterson starting. That would help us tremendously on defense. Plus whoever we get back for Scola plus fillers would be our new scorer to replace Scola.

 

He didn't play much vs Bass and Earl Clark. Miller and Scola were the one getting own.

Hill almost exclusive defense with no help DH

 

Agreed. Varejao makes perfect sense to me, and the Rockets have pieces the Cavs would be wanting IMHO.

Yep pretty much, and the only time Hill made a mistake on Howard was when DH spun off him for the oop.

4 of those points came off Miller, one where DH banged him inside the circle and dunked on him.

Hill played as good as you can on Howard and people are saying he's trash on defense yet i'm biased?

 

Hill's defense hasn't been stopping Dwight. Howard has been stopping himself with foul trouble and not being physical in his post ups with Hill.

If I were the magic I would have had Howard go strong at Hill like Aldridge did.

None of our centers can D up Howard when he decides to really get physical. (to be fair, so can't most of the league)

 

I agree. Scola mostly shoots jumpers these days anyway . Pat shoots better

 

Varejao is done for the season.

 

Varejao is out with an ankle injury for awhile.

 

Wrong. Scola and Miller were covering those 2 guys. Patterson and Hill were shutting down their guys.

 

They were guarded by Scola, not Hill.
