We go as far as Yao takes us. If T-Mac can lead us, I don't see why Yao can't lead us to some victories. Hell, he even has a better supporting cast.
Yao will own howard in half-court game. Currently only Shaq is strong enough to be one-on-one with Yao offensively and defensively on low post. Do you remember Yao blocked 4-5 shots of Amare and Eddie in one game? If they challenge one-on-one on low post, they are done. Yao can defend them very well. When the opposite centers stay outside or in a run-and-gun mode, Yao's defense has trouble. Rockets, slow down. Let DH embrass himself.
I think Yao will be denied the ball inside causing us a lot of trouble, and then he will have a lot of trouble scoring against Howard, the key will be for me to understand how to play the post with Scola sometimes and play Yao-Scola together so that Yao is not constantly doubled.
Agreed. Hayes is pretty much useless without Tmac. I want to see Scola more tonight. He is a very smart defender and can shoot outside jumper.
I'm feeling a win...They showed some heart and cohesiveness against the Celtics and I think we are about to go on a W streak...Once Tmac makes it back we will lose a game or two then go on another streak. I've been one to bash on Tmac...but I really hope he can turn it around. If they continue playing like the other night...and we add Tmac...I don't think anyone can stop us...We will overcome. Orlando's outside shooting bothers me. If Lewis and Hedo have poor shooting games,the Rockets can win.
