Totally agree. Head was stupid for the decision. It should be a no brainer to give ball to Yao for that play. RA should bench Head just for that bad decision. What the hell was Head thinking?
Howard was closer to Yao than he was to Luther. A good big man will screen off the defensive player, just as Yao did, for his guard. It works both ways. Had Howard been closer to Luther than Yao, then sure, pass it to Yao. He wasn't. I just watched it again a few times.
