The problems with Head are as follows: (1) His shot selections are terrible most of time, like shooting with a hand in his face. (2) Fumble under pressure. (3) Can't pass the ball to Yao. (4) Can't defend a big guard. Other than those, he is a NBA player.
That's dumb. He's trying to help kids in Africa. Who the hell cares if he's wearing sunglasses or not? Are you the fashion police? MAD PROPS to T-Mac for what he's doing.
I like the the rox are playing, especially yao, but I want to see 30 from yao tomight. in the 4th, I want to see 10 pts when the game gets tight. is that asking too much?
we are winning because Alston is hot. If he is going cold, which is very likely due to Olando's defensive adjustment, we will have trouble scoring in the 2nd half.
This is nothing new. He sucked for JVG, too. Bad players inevitably make bad plays, especially playing Adelman's brand of ball. One of the great things about Van Gundy is that he can make average players and bad players play to their strengths while reducing the impact of their liabilities. The only reasons that Head saw playing time under JVG was that the team lacked frontcourt players and he listened and tried to execute Van Gundy's game plans which centered around Yao and McGrady. Van Gundy will usually choose a less talented role player that tries to do the right thing over a more talented role player that has his own agenda on the court. In an offense that requires more dynamic decision-making and versatility on offense, Head is now unable to hide his terrible weaknesses. I will be surprised if Luther Dead is still in the NBA a few years from now. He just isn't talented enough or athletic enough to make up for his lack of skills beyond spot-up shooting.
what does this have anything to do with how our players are playing... i hate to tell you but Tmac is on the bench.. shall we focus on the game again? jeez
