Prob leftover from chat. I jumped on near the end of the game, and a few were ragging on Sura for his play in the fourth ... They were made aware that Sura was near a 3D, but I guess it didn't stick.

W/o Sura in this game, it was easily an L.

Yeah, it was wild watching us get CATOMIC BOMBED all night. You'd think we'd be able to stop that after practicing it for 6 years.

Well, Steve is shooting above 40% so, according to him, we can all kiss his ass!

I know this has nothing to do with the terrific Rockets game, but has anyone checked out the Ronald McDonald uniforms the Cavs are sporting?

I don't know what it is about TNT, but it seems like no one ever has anything good to say about the Rockets.

    exactly...

He's basically giving them some tough love... saying that they were great tonight, but since they don't do that every night, you're almost more upset at them. Frankly, I think Barkley and Kenny care very much how the Rockets develop... and they're speaking as observers who are frustrated with the way things have gone so far.

I wouldn't blame them too much... I'd like to see the Yao/T-mac combo work this well every night also.

he did qaulify it, saying we are a "bad team" for the West, but still better than an average team in the East. Not that it's a compliment or anything.

And he said Yao would never scored 30 pts. in a game.

Charles and 'The Jet" analyze WAY too much. Kenny tries to be super inelectual and come up with these crazy theories and they always have holes in them. Don't even get me started on his list of what differentiates a superstar from an allstar.

Charles said that no one is worried about us and that we are a bad team, yet then in another breath, he says that if we bring the energy every game then we would be a very dangerous team. What?

It just seems like the national media is taking their shots at both TMac and the team while they can. They don't have anything better to complain about since the 'Days of Our Lakers' went off the air. Plus, Tmac doesn't play in LA, Chicago or NY, is not the NEW phenom, and has never raped anyone; so he is not going to get his props this season.

i really don't enjoy listening to barkley talk about the rockets. he speaks like he has a chip on his shoulder but i'm pretty sure he had good times here even though he didn't get the ring. maybe nick is right and it's just tough love but take it easy chuck.

great game tonight, probably the most nerve-racking game yet cause i really wanted us to win. a couple observations:

i love freakin bob sura. he's basically steve francis lite but more under control which works out better for us since we don't need his scoring with t-mac. he's definitely as hard-working and probably even more hot-headed. you saw him yelling at steve, steve wasn't even trying to be a part of that.

grant hill played some damn good defense on t-mac for the most part. i was really surprised at how well he was moving. grant hill's a class guy so it's nice to see him back.

all in all this game worked out well, nice game for steve but the rockets still pull it out.
