Maybe the players will play with more intensity since JVG and about half of our team is going back home to New York. ;)

True but neither of those teams have as little depth at PG as we do and as little fire power off the bench as we do.

Christie was on T-Mac whenever Hill wasn't on him. The Magic attempted Turgkolu at one point but that turned out badly. McGrady did the right thing and gave the ball up when necessary.

John Weisbrod of Orlando trade away Cat Mobley and Michael Bradley (6'10" PF in his 2nd year) for Doug Christie.

Simply a 2 for that I feel SacTown got better of. Doug Christie makes about $8.2M next season.

    You know what I love?

Steve still falls down and will NOT GET UP until someone helps him.
    Steve still is reckless.
Steve still whines and b****es after every call.
Steve still can't run any semblance of a break.
Steve still can NOT play one iota of defense.
Steve still doesn't get 'it.' (Unless of course we're talking about what Cat gives him...)

Steve-O, as he named himself, is about to be traded again because he can't stop whining like little b****! Here's my UNWAVERING OPINION - If he screams like a b**** and squeals like a b**** and whines like a b**** and and overexagerates everything like a b**** and oh yeah...walks, talks, and complains like a b****?? You know what? Most likely, he's a little b****!

I'm glad he's gone. I miss Cat (However, my sleeping habits are unaffected!) but Steve can kiss my ass and enjoy his new life with the freaking Nuggets!

    b****!

I was OK with it during the game ... and esp when he starts mixing it up with our current players. But I did sympathize with him at the end. Even when his play is misguided, he certainly does work hard for the win.

Sura is becoming my favorite Rocket. The guy is just all heart. Man if we could have had him back in our Matt Maloney days we would have won several championships. Sura is the shiz! go rockets!

You know, we all talked quite a bit about the stars going into this game, but it was players like Sura who decided it. Good to see the Rockets hit the offensive boards, that's the best way to stop the #1 fastbreaking team in the league.

Speaking of Sura, I just perused this thread and I am shocked that there are any posts that are negative about him tonight. You have got to be freaking kidding me. What is wrong with some of you?

Still though, I miss the guy. T-Mac trade was a no-brainer, but I still love watching Steve.

I can't remember...was there any possibility at all that we could have acquired Hill in the trade?

Next to my wife and son, this is the most beautiful image in the world.

Freakin' Yao steps up big. I think I'm going to cry.

Maybe true, but doesn't seem to make much difference. Phoenix hadn't lost back-to-back all season, now they've lost 4 in a row since Nash went down, while Minnesota has gone 2-5 since losing Cassell. Don't think we could do much worse w/o Sura.

I can't follow you, Doc. What do you really think of Steve? I mean, no holding back now.

    (dramatic pause)

Yes, I don't miss the whining either. Steve and Cato and even Cat made up the all-whiners team. I DO wish we had not yielded Cat in the trade; but all in all, if we can soon make something better of Juwan/Mo (Mo with his 5-game "flu"; *cough BULLS**T* cough*) then I'm certainly happy with "Me-Mac".

    Good job, Rox.

I agree, I think I know which posts your writing about -- Trolls?

Sura shows so much heart -- you know he's hurt and he's still plays like his a** is on fire.

It was weird seeing Steve playing against the Rockets. Did anyone else feel that way?

    :D :D :D

Yao's bright enough to realize that Swift's slam in the Memphis game turned the momentum against us.

Maybe Stromile's slam woke up a sleeping giant.

Thinking back on this, it was funny to see that both McGrady and Yao headed straight for Francis to calm him down - very classy of them both. Maybe they don't like Sura? Or maybe they just think Steve is a bigger hothead? who knows.

Honestly, at times, it felt that we were watching the Rockets team we've known for the last 4 years.

Francis gets the rebound... brings it up... dribbles around for 14 seconds... gets the pick... drives it in... lobs it up for Cato.... CATOMIC SLAM!

They've been running that play since 99.
