i'm gonna be honest, i hope the magic win and francis goes off and sticks it to van gundy and all his detractors here. i hope we beat orlando every game for the rest of eternity after this game but for this game i want francis to show jvg up.

now i suspect tmac will be on his own mission and will torch their porous D and we will win (which is why the trade was, is, and always will be a great trade for us).

i don't think francis is tall enough to posterize yao and i hope he doesn't but one breakaway highlight reel would be cool.

I am going to say that the game is not even going to be close....steve is going to play on pure emotion and is going to do everything he can to beat the team that traded him...so the only way for us to Win is for Tmac to score 30+ and for Yao to show that he has some balls but other than that i say the magic have this game won already

With the Rox down by 1 in the final seconds, Doug Christie, who is covering Tmac uses hand signals to communicate to Jackie Christie on what defensive stance to take. Tmac blows by Doug and draws Steve Francis and Dwight Howard to the top of the key freeing up Yao. Tmac dishes a bullet alleyoop pass to Yao and Yao slams it home reverse with 2 seconds to play to put the Rox up by 1. Francis has the final possession and dribbles between the legs and off his legs and the Rox win. Oh yeah, Francis will then make a hand signal to Cuttino .." you complete me".

The key of rox win is ...., I donot watch the game. it is countless times that rox lose the games if I watch , no exception so far.
rox vs spurs , I falled in sleep in last five mins and rox cameback.
rox vs.pacer. I wach the 1st qt and last 5 min. during these min, Yao turn the ball over three times include the last clutch one. miss 4 shot , hit one, a unfair foul. sura turn the ball once, Tmac miss two shots, rox got a tech.
So I promise i will not watch this one. then everything will be fine.
97, 80 rox blow magic out.

SF3 tried really hard to go off and ends up keeping his teammates out of the game. SF3 gets 30 pts.

T-Mac will make sure he shines on this one because he want's to show up Weisbrough more than anything.

T-mac and Yao combine for 55 pts and the rest of the team adds 42.

I'd love to see the Rockets win this game but if they do and then they lose to the Knicks on Friday night it will all be for nothing. Win or lose though T-Mac will score 40+ points, I have no idea what Francis will do though maybe he'll play to score, maybe he'll try and show Van Gundy that he can run the show, either way I think he'll have a good game.

It's going to be fun boys, I got my VCR set for this one.

Frankly, I thought the Rockets would roll into Orlando with a six game win streak and fire in their eyes, and beat the living dookie out of the Magic. Well, things have changed. They have now regressed to their "little sisters of the poor" status and will get blown out. No defense, no offense, no fire, no win. And no one will be more disappointed than me. Rockets seemed to be surging and the Magic seemed to be stumbling just a few short games ago. Now the roles are reversed again. :( I still say there will be a scuffle with fines, otherwise, the Rockets will lose by 20+. Oh me of little faith!

Deke takes out Steve in the 1st with a sharp elbow to the temple, Tmac goes off for 50+, and Yao finishes with a solid 9 points and 3 rebounds.

T-Mac has something to prove and goes for a career high.

Yao gets posterized several times by The Franchise and Dwight Howard. Even Cato gets in on the action with some well placed alleys.

Juwon Howard goes for 15+ but it's still not enough.

    Rockets lose 3 straight.

God, no telling. If the team that beat the Mavs and Spurs gets off tbe bus then win. If the team that allows 60% 3 point shooting by the opposing team and can't make their outside shots shows up then humiliation.

Frustrating team, one day you think they have turned the corner with the new players and the next day the new players are as bad as the old players you got rid of.

was this posted anywhere? if it is, i apologize....

    Rockets Sign Strickland, Release Knight

The Houston Rockets have signed free agent guard Rod Strickland, General Manager Carroll Dawson announced today. In a related move, the Rockets have released guard Brandin Knight, who made one scoreless appearance after signing a 10-day contract on Sunday. Strickland comes to Houston ranked seventh in NBA history with 7,948 career assists and 19th all-time with 1,613 career steals.
“Rod gives us another experienced veteran in our backcourt,” Dawson said. “He will give us more depth, as we fight through an assortment of injuries.”

Strickland has averaged 13.4 points, 7.4 assists and 1.50 steals in 1,078 career games with New York, San Antonio, Portland, Washington, Miami, Minnesota, Orlando and Toronto. He has posted a double-figure scoring average in 12 of his 16 seasons, including a career-high 18.9 points per game with Portland during the 1994-95 season. The 6-3, 185-pound guard earned All-NBA Second Team honors following the 1997-98 season, when he led the NBA with a career-high 10.5 assists per game. The 38-year-old Strickland averaged 6.3 points and 4.0 assists in 61 games with Orlando and Toronto last season.
