106 points and counting... Francis would have loved JVG's system... if he got a chance to play against this Orlando defense every night (which I guess he's a part of).

Even though it didn't mean ANYTHING... I have to say that I am more satisfied with this win than any other this year.... I dunno why.

I think everybody was a little on the nervous side for this... especially if you have both Clutch and Doc posting multiple times in the game thread.

    Nice game.

    Both sides played well.

I hope that Yao can figure out a way to get ball like in today's game. Everything looks so easy if he can get ball without struggling against front.

Questions we all must ask ourselves after this win:

What is the most impressive about Sura tonight?

    A) Matching or outplaying Steve Francis straight up.
    B) One assist shy of a triple-double.
    C) One rebound shy of doubling Yao's rebounds.

When will mfclark post again on the BBS?

    A) Tonight/tomorrow.
    B) Will pull a "MemphisX" -- sometime after Monday to see how the next game turns out.
    C) Never.

I'd like to imagine how good our team would be if we had a Dampier at the 4...

LMFAO, what a pathetic bash. He had 28 poiints, 9 assists, and 1 TO, they lost, but not cause of him. Find something else to b**** about.

I'm delighted with the win! Nothing against Steve but T-Mac is much better than him.

Awesome game. We won. Yao had a great game so nobody could talk bad about him for at least a day I guess. Francis had a good game so nobody should talk bad about his play. Howard had a bad game and it's always good for me to see him do that. Sura had a great game, awesome rebounding. T-Mac had an OK game for his standards but still contributed. Wesley hit his shots, Barry played well. Can't wait till I go to Monday's rematch.

    Rebounding was the key.

Now PLEASE don't lose to the Knicks tomorrow night, it bothers the hell out of me when the Rockets lose to a Stephon Marbury team.

Yeah, did you watch the end of the game? The Rockets scored on 4-5 straight possessions and were getting offensive boards when they didn't. Not surprising, considerng the magic are a lousy defensive squad.

But anyway, please identify for me when Francis blew the game, thanks Tweezer.

    LMFAO, what a pathetic bash.

The difference in this one was simple:

    Offensive Rebounding
    Defense

The Rockets were great on the offensive boards and the Magic were really bad on defense. End of story.

turkoglue almost broke the backboard on a 3 and he got hill quite a few jumpers. plus, on some of those drives, he probably thought the refs might actually call a foul but i guess not.

considering half the team played like they didn't give a damn he should've tried to take over. cato finally blocked yao that one time but that was the first time he even attempted to get physical with yao. after all those years you'd think he'd know yao can be hurt by physical guys and you'd think he'd at least make an effort.

and seeing yao hit that jumper, i still don't get why we don't see it more. it's not like duncan and garnett don't shoot jumpers or other big men don't do it.
