Wow... sometimes Sura's dribble-mania reminds me of SFrancis... fortunately he doesn't do that ALL the time. Separately... Yao has only 2 fouls, is 5-5 from the field, not getting double-teamed... the boy should be getting the ball MORE tonight!

Great to see yao is playing creative basketball again tonight. BTW, JVG Note, yao is at his best when his playing free basketball. dont try to turn him into a Machine!
seriously, i'd just give yao the ball every time down the court. we did it last year and he had 37 and they never stopped him. it looks like they'll do it again. he either gets fouled or hits a shot every time. a great battle, johnny davis' defense versus jeff van gundy's offense.
That will probably be the plan in the second half... although you really can't complain too much about the offense. He'll see the ball plenty... but I like the way everybody was getting involved on the offensive end as well. Bad fouls, turnovers, and rebounding are the main adjustments this team has to make in the second half.
I did not know that Juwan Howard had such an ugly jump shot. Why do the Rockets have 5 Assistant Coaches? They have 6 coaches and only 5 players on the floor. One guy's job is to watch the refs I suppose... Somebody has to stop Yao from putting the ball on the floor in the paint. He dribbles across the lane to take an 8-foot fadeaway. Why not just square and take a 10-foot jumper?
Juwan and Sura are just friggin HORRIBLE passers to Yao...Juwan just sees Yao as a decoy so he can hoist that ugly-arse jumper...and Sura has Francisitis (the dreaded dribbling disease)

has an orlando big man done a damn thing on a pnr all day? sura just strolls down the lane for a layup. that may be the worst pass of all time. geez. cato and howard are playing like babies inside. what's with the calls? horrible goaltending call. howard clobbers cato on the arm on a dunk no call. tmac charges francis no call. and the magic just continue to get lazier on D.
This is incredible. I thought that Forrest Gump would make sure that Yao got the ball in the second half. Now all we got is Sura dribble, Sura shoot, Sura passing to TMac for a brick. The only shot Yao could get is an offensive putback. Even on a night when we have the biggest advantage at 5 Sura wants to play like Michael Jordan.
