Yeah, I think the refs will try to clamp down on the Rockets. While I thought there were several calls that favored LA last night, game one was terrific compared to the OKC series. This will be a tougher game, in my opinion, but we'll beat them anyway. We are a terrible matchup for the Lakers.

    Rockets by 5.

Whats up with DHouse? Looks like brain concussion. Concussion protocol?

MDA looked really pissed off when he saw Danuel has suffered an injury. He always looses guys while going deep in playoffs.

    1) Game 2 Harden is almost always bad offensively. I’m expecting a downturn for him.

    2) Adam Silver won’t want Lebron and AD going down 2-0. Refs will be against us from tip-off

They still have nobody who can guard Westbrook or EG off the dribble. Just knock down shots and play defense.

apperently he’s not on our injury report so maybe it was just a shot to the eye that got better quickly .

if you look at his steps he has balance . He just was moving slowly

Nah, this will give Westbrook a chance to feast more. Hunt for AD and draw him away from the paint. The Lakers' smalls are NOT the same caliber as the Thunder's smalls.

No shot blockers in the paint is Westbrook's ideal situation.

Also, by going smallball, the Lakers are playing right into the Rockets' hands, as it takes away their biggest strength (being able to have a revolving door of bigs).

Since he is not working any of the two games tonight, I'm expecting a Tony Brothers appearance for this game tomorrow.

Bron will be ultra-aggressive, Lakers will get lots of FTs. Rockets will need to be careful on their drives to the basket; I dread that any contact will be called a Rockets foul.

As content as I would be with a split, I say "be greedy" and go WIN Game 2

Bigs are only good if they are a threat on the floor. Mcgee and Howard does nothing on either side of the floor for the lakers. Unskilled bigs are going the way of the dinosaur real soon in this league.

If Lakers play AD at Center and Lebron at PF. Thats the best big C/PF tandem in the NBA. Yea the Lakers guard are awful but by going "small" they actually get much better in the front court. 6'11 AD and 6'8 250 Lebron are a ridiculous combo.

    I can understand #1

But sports fans around the world should never be expecting/anticipating/accepting #2 as reality/SOP

Growing up and watching the NBA in the 90s and it was all about if the big guys had decent mobility and that alone could secure them a job.

This adjustment affects their defense as much as offense. The Rockets swarming defense was good because they didn't have to defend Mcgee or Howard when they were in the game. Covington could slide over and provide help defense which is where he's at his best. Rondo, while shooting 2/5 from 3, was another guy we didn't pay attention to on the defensive end. It'll be interesting to see how many minutes those 3 guys will get in game 2.

Because in game 1, Lebron already complained about "no spacing". Those 3 guys are mainly the reason why they dont have spacing on the court.

King James said no spacing so i expect big changes.

The GSW warriors death lineup and then Rockets micro ball forever changed the league. Daryl Morey is going to the reason why young 7 footers around the nation is going to have to apply at Wendy's instead of the NBA. If you're a big and you cant hit a 3 ball? Forgettaboutit

I can't until the platinum standard, KD, makes his return, enough talk about AD and Giannis.
