Hmm, so we are getting our butts kicked (I refuse to go the ref route...I hate when other teams do that). My hope is that they don't continue to just hit everything....and that their trend of blowing big leads continues.

It is not about defense. What else can you do? We just seem completly lost. La Lakers are just so fun to watch, and even against great defense they find ways to score because they have so many weapons. That is why they are much better than us.

RA took Yao out of the first quarter. Why??? Play Yao with PnR. Instead of getting Yao into foul trouble, RA should play Yao to force Gasol into foul trouble. Bad game plan so far.

    They will cool off.
By Law of average, unless it's another 86 pts night, Kobe won't stay that hot all night. But Rockets have to find an answer for Paul Gasol, Yao won't follow him up all night, someone gotta step up.

Kobe is playing in the zone, we should double or trible team him and force the rest of Lakers shoot the ball.

Calls are going the Lakers way right now. It's hard to argue against them since they're the aggressor this game, but there have been some bs calls going against the Rockets. The ticky tack calls going against the Rockets have been no calls against the Lakers. Scola's gotten hammered a couple of times in the paint. Wafer got elbowed in the face by Gasol on a fastbreak and Fisher is getting away with molesting Brooks tonight. Just a lot of stuff that's frustrating to watch.

I give credit to Kobe and Pau though. Those calls though are momentum killers right now, but they're not what's beating the Rockets.

I really think the key here is DEFENSE.
Offense will come...but we have to dig in.

KOBE will get his points....but we can STOP everyone else. We need the old Chuck Daly rope-a-dope mentality here:
when the Pistons used to play the Bulls, they'd let Jordan have his points....hard earned points.
But everyone else, theyd hammer them shut on D.

I think tonite, we get Cook in there for short spells.
    He's got 6 fouls...to USE...

Man, this is going to be TOUGH.

Find a way to slow it down, and just chip away at the lead.

    GO ROCKETS!!!
