Gasol is to weak to front Yao the whole game the blazers BIGS had no offense so their job was to play defense and Front. The lakers can't Guard Yao period. Yao is screwing himself missing easy shots

We need at least a dozen point lead going into the 4th. Gonna be hard to survive the Kobe flurry if we're just nursing a 2-3 point lead.

officiating has been decent so far.

I wonder when Stern is going to make the call?

This team play like they don't want to kill them. The Lakers were struggling this bad...we should be up by double digit instead you have guys like Barry turn over (he sucks as i said before, his passing decision suck) I rather he take shot than passing around. Or get Von in there rather Barry. Yao needs to step up and play more aggressive offense. He should playing smart and post up on the right side where he can do your bread and butter play. Brooks should not miss free throws. It seems as if this team is waiting for the Lakers to catch up or they were shock that they're leading because if we play with fire and intensity...this shyt is already a blow out.

The Rockets overall are playing tentative. They have the "I'm really nervious" look in their eyes. I want to see the killer instinct I saw with the Blazers.

I believe this is our best chance to seize a win on the road.

Lakers will surely get better in game 2. They are a little bit rusty.
We are playing good, but not hitting most shots.

wnd half going to be real tough

I agree, but Yao needs to be more assertive. He's playing a bit soft out there, but at least he is rebounding and defending quite well.

Yao needs to be more aggressive offensively, he is the one that looks sicker than Kobe at this point. He needs to just make the shots.

Definitely not looking good...if you remember the Mavs game we were up by more than this then they pulled out the fronting card in the 2nd half and we still got owned. If the Lakers seem to be playing possum and we're only up by 3...we might be in trouble if they start playing seriously and Kobe starts playing within the system. We'll see if Gasol starts fronting this quarter.

The Lakers looked pretty rusty in the first half, but I'm guessing the third quarter is going to be a different story. The Rockets had better come out ready.

Brooks is 2 of 4, 5 pts and a block, 1 TO, he's not playing great but he's definitely in the game. Yao couldnt be aggressive because of his 2 fouls, but he still managed 10 pts, which isnt bad.
