Great defense guys, contest shots and rebound (that would be the key). I'd like to see us running.

At the least, he made up for it with a block.

The Lakers aren't even trying yet. Looks like both teams are taking their time to feel each other out and settle into the game.

    block by Yao!
im really liking the current match up...looks like the rox are clogging the middle and making the Fakers shot jumpers.

IMPRESSED. Rockets taking it to the Fakers. If they can keep that intensity...ho man, big trouble.

    Great Start!
I was hoping Yao would do a finger wag after that block.

I'm scared about us weathering the inevitable famous Lakers second half run, but right now we're doing okay.

Maybe Yao needs a breather. No way he loses that rebound if he's fresh.

Either that or Adelman needs to kick him in the butt.

    Pride. Pride. Pride.

I don't know if we're going to win tonight. But I'm just really proud of these guys. They're giving it all -- effort, focus, judgment, poise.

I love this game !! The refs are not giving LA anything, yet and the Rockets are dominating. Yao is tired and still blocked the shot so give him credit. Artest is doing great and we need those Scola fastbreak points badly. Run baby RUN !!! :D

Um, yeah. I'm going to have to go ahead and disagree with you.

He's got a fan in his face and has probably gotten away with what should have been a couple of fouls. Don't worry though. Phil Jackson will throw a hissyfit after the game and those plays won't go unnoticed again.

#1. Our defense is a thing of beauty.

#2. I love the slo-mo fastbreak by Scola.
