Please just don't let us break any playoff records for futility. 40+ point blowout, only scoring 50 points, or anything ridiculous like that.

The pace of the game is still in our favor.

You couldn't put this in one of the 5 or 6 other "proud of this team" threads?

We are still playing very hard. I think we will be fine. Lakers are just playing better because they are at home obviously. Our effort looks good. We will be back in this with the second unit.

well, yeah. the strategy wasn't really to lose both centers for the season and start a 6-6 guy at the 5.

Gotta get Wafer in there. No reason to not have somebody like him in given the current situation.

haha i hear you man, I tried to do the same every game we lost the first in this series, and the stats end up being right. Hopefully the Rockets can prove that wrong today.

It looks hard, but not impossibler, 1st quarter means nothing, winning every quarter left just by 3 it would mean a victory.

Our players had butterflies in their stomaches. Now they will settle down and play game. Get some stops and keep it close and we'll be ok. There are 3 more quarters to play.

    Quote me ;-)

Well- this isn't too bad.. our FG % sucked but then LA only managed to put up 22 on us. AB has been pretty much a non factor though- thats gonna have to change this next period.

Ron Artest...the guy is need to post up on either side. He's hardly ever do that because he's not able to fight off the defender. If Ron Artest have a hard time fighting for position in the post...i can imagine how hard it is for Yao to do the same being even slower than Artest.

Only 22 points for LA. Why am I encouraged about this?

One basket at a time. Good shots and no TOs. We will prevail. 1,2,3 let's go. Rockets!

for as bad as we played, we're only down 10. for those of u and ur stupid "end of 1st quarter" stat thing, u can turn off ur tv now then. I'm gonna watch a basketball game and not a basketball quarter.

Not having size has hurt us for over 3 years now, the Rockets organisation should blame themselves right now if we lose.
