Why is everyone keep sayin Odom is out?? he is questionable. Game time decision. He is not out. We won't know until the game is about to start.

I think everyone is assuming that even if he does play, his time/performance will be significantly limited due to the injury.

i knew we would win game 4, but im not expecting a win tonight.

all i want is for the rockets to give them a scare. maybe take a lead in the 2nd or 3rd quarter and put some doubt in the lakers minds. as long as we keep it close, im confident we can come back and win it on our floor for game 6.

then game 7 will be a toss up.

It is the playoffs so all that limited time is out the window. Some players understand that and are going to want to be on the floor.

Well, it's not really his choice. If it is obvious that he won't be able to contribute meaningful minutes because of the pain, Phil/team doctors aren't going to put him out there.

I agree, we need to stop with all this we're better without T-mac/ Yao conversation around here. I would kill to have both those guys on the roster healthy for the remainder of the playoffs (or to have Yao during the series vs. Utah last Spring). Match-ups differ and sometimes these guys don't play to the weaknesses of other teams that doesn't mean that our team is worse off with them. The truth is the Rockets have an outstandingly adaptable roster. We've learned to play without either of them in the lineup, and we have the personel to go 10-11 deep (Barry didn't even play in game four). We play outstanding team defense and we have good shooters, when you have that, you'll always give yourself a chance to win.

You can easily pencil in the Lakers as the favorite and projected winner of every game through game 7 but it doesn't matter to me. The Rockets are playing their hearts out. I believe and I'll be watching and rooting for them!

We'll be lucky as hell to score 90 points....probably not even 85...

I wouldn't be surprised to see LA play Hack-a-Chuck.

Is this a must-win for the Lakers? I wouldn't like their chances if they lost. Pressure's on them. Go Rox.

That's when the Rockets replace Hayes with Landry (assuming he's on the bench while Hayes is out there). IF the Lakers do attempt to go that route.

this is gonna be a hard one to predict..emotions are high for the lakers but i expect the rockets coming out the same intensity as game 4. jus keep the ball moving making the extra pass and hope that artest makes his 3's and battier has to play the pippen role again lol..but i smell another rockets win tonight though for sum reason..

    "Oh boy" is right.

Out of 61 officials, here is how tonight's crew ranks in terms of being a "homer"...

    Salvatore (#21)
    Mauer (#10)
    Stafford (#26)

That's an average of #19 out of 61.

To put that in perspective, the crew for the last game (played in Houston, obviously) averaged a homer ranking of #27 out of 61 and the calls were definitely going our way.

I'm not an outright conspiracy theorist when it comes to refs, but the stats don't lie.

Prepare for the tables to turn tonight, my friends.

Kobe will be playing to please his ego which will make him dangerous.

Quintuple team him like Boston in last years finals and Rockets get the W.

Here is my strategy: no body expects you to win tonight guys, you have done an amazing job tying the series. Nobody expected that either. Go out there, have fun, freestroke, play hard, whatever, it's gravy.

And remember, there has not been a game in the playoffs where ALL the Rockets players were ON at the same time. Why not tonight!?

I'm so f'n ready for this game...It won't be like game 4, blow out wise, but I expect the same intensity, run and gun style and our guys will execute...I expect AB to drop off slightly, but Shane to be consistent and Ron to be dominant...

    Go Rockets!!!
