It is true, this is not why we lost. But it is also too predictable. I told people earlier today, that with the Lakers even and back at home Chuck would be taken out of the game with foul trouble.

It definitely changed things early one.

Of course we are not going to stay in the game with all of our missed shots, but you have to acknowledge that the officiating tilted toward the Lakers and anybody that has watched the NBA in the last 6 years could have predicted it.

    time for james white!

adelman wants to get the score within reason i guess. so rotation players are needed to try to make it a bit respectable.

Bottom line is that without Yao or T-Mac, the only way Rockets could have won this game was to get 90 pts from the starters. That's almost impossible.

I still hope Houston makes some noise at the Toyota Center and make this a CLOSE 7 game series. Tonight's game was only expected (although it was a bit more than embarrassing).

He better be a good backup center, because with Yao as the starter, it is almost assured the backup center will get alot of playing time due to Yao injury.

It is so sad that year after year our top two guys are hurt.

its their home court. shouldnt that be expected? god i dont know what people on here expected that the officiating wouldnt tilt toward the lakers advantage. but when you make dumb plays and have turnovers and the laker players come out and play with a lot more energy than the rockets thats how a 40 point beat down happens.

Our guys are just standing around and watching defensively. I understand the circumstances but if you're not going to play hard at least put White and Dorsey in.

He's the only good defender we have left. So getting him 2 early BS fouls does change the game. And the refs look clean doing it, everyone says "Chuck Hayes getting in foul trouble couldn't have caused the rockets to lose". Bad bad juju, man.

But the good thing is that we have a plan for how to beat the Lakers- drive to the rack over and over and over. They couldn't stop it at all.
