Horrible end to the 2nd quarter... at least they'll have halftime to wake up again (unlike the NO debacle).

Unfortunately, that's not coming through right now, as he's busy fellating Kobe.

If I hear him talking about how "We're seeing a more charismatic, friendly Kobe" one more time, I am going to do something drastic. Like his teammates don't see right through that "I'm gonna put my arm around you and laugh in an exaggerated manner because we're friends" bs..

Doug Collins needs to shut up. He's talking too much about crap that doesn't even concern this game.

    LOL!

Yah, that is the only thing I really hate about him: how utterly fake a person he is.

Look, it is fine Kobe, be yourself! Be like Barry Bonds and be an a-hole to the media and your teammates IN PUBLIC! People already know who you are, so stop the whole act, man. It ain't your fault that you are a hateable person;)

But anyways, Collins works for TNT, and thus is under the influence of bosses who worship at the alter of everything LA, so he has to talk that way. If you don't praise Kobe and the Lakers you won't last long in anything that has to do with TV work.

The draw and impact of LA is really palpable.

Figure a team that has just recently been eliminated from the playoffs but all the talk is about how their star Kobe feels and how the Lakers are gonna retool. While the team pushing up for higher seeding barely gets a mention.

pretty telling there on how the media and country feels about the Lakers. If Houston doesn't have Yao to a lesser extent T-mac I can't imagine how much coverage (or how least) this team will get.

You guys think about Kobe too much.

Nice finish to the half.

They'll be alright though, just gotta pick up that defense.

Anyway now lets listen to Barkley talk trash.

I'm worried about the way we closed out the half. Easy buckets for the Lakers because of poor defense. A 9 point lead isn't much. It's still too close. We have to come out aggressively now on both ends and to keep out of foul trouble.

Some steroids do have healing and therapeutic value, one of them is Deca-Durabolin, I'm never a big fan of cortisone, you can go overboard with it, the maximum amount of shots in any joint is 3, anything more than that will harm more than heal. Those football players in the early years got plenty of cortisone shots, a lot of them are living in pain and crippling arthritis. SAD!

We have to do like dallas tonight and keep hammering the Lakers even when they are down and out.

Go for the kill for ONCE, Rox!

Well, it might be a bit early to be pissed, let's see their aggressiveness and focus level in the 2nd half.

My ONLY concern so far? FT attemps by the Rox v. the Lakers.

The Lakers have more than we do, like 8 or so more.

    Ouch!

Yao just fell as he was trying to get position, and then someone made a pass to him and it was a TO.

Doug Collins is saying T-Mac has the best "shot fake" in the league.

Bad news is Lakers are actually knocking down their shots.

And Bob Sura is heating up on his jump shots. Which is good.

Our perimeter defense is bad right now, we are shooting well, but the Lakers are making ALL their threes as well:(

I cant watch the game, but form what I'm reading, it looks like we're doing the jump shot jumpshot thing again, only this time the shots are falling. Would this be a fair assessment?

B.Grant is COMPLETELY taking Yao out of his game, he is manhandling him now, Yao can't get a SINGLE position so far in the 2nd half.

We will need Yao to get position for his teammates to pass him the ball
