The problem with that was he was making shots till the half.

The second half he didn't miss any shots because he didn't take any he couldn't stop Grant from getting in front of him and twice when the team rifled passes down low he let grant intercept them.

The second half points were basically in garbage time. It was Mutombo and the rest that sealed this win.

Again if Yao plays like this in the Post season we are finished.

    I have a question:

When Deke plays like he did tonight, have we EVER lost when he played like this? I mean EVER?

I think he might be the ONLY player that we have a perfect win-record with when he plays well.

I love Deke man, 48 years old and still going.

See, that is how ageless you look when you eat at Yao's the world-famous mangolian beef dish ;)

Man, who else is worried about McGrady's knees? He looks shaky at times out there. Incredibly, he still manages to muster up 27 points.

I'll say it again, deke is still in the the top 6 or 7 centers in the league. and certianly the best backup C in the game.

LOL! What else? He sounded like our beloved COOKIE MONSTER:D

U know, I think that the key to Deke's intimidation is his voice, not his block-shoting ability!:D

Is Deke really promoting healthy food? If so, then I am going to get me some, I wanna be playing like that at 54

Poor Deke, his age goes up in this thread from 30 something to 48, and now 54, if the thread goes 15 pages, he might be dead by the end

    Dammmm! What a sweet victory!

We snap a 3 game losing streak and do it against the hated Lakers!

Lets win a few more and nail down that playoff spot!:D

LOL! Barkley is making fun of Vince as I guess "soft" because he took a hard foul from Jerome Williams tonight (against the Knicks) and then apparently thought twice before he went after him.

Barkley (I guess) was alluding to Vince beign scared to go after a bigger, stronger guy.

Then he retracted and said, "Now I am going to get in trounle with Vince's mom! I love Vince, he is a good kid". Then Kenny jumps in and says, "Vince is a lover not a fighter!":D

    Uh isn't he 38?

Deke's got my vote for Rox MVP of the second half.

Our bench did a great job helping for the win. Deke's rebounding, defense, Padget, Mike James and Bowen all contributed big time. With our 2 stars not 100% healthy, perimeter shots have not been falling, to win a road game like this got to feel good, regardless how terribble the opponent is.

Hey man...coming from Africa, you can be any age you want to be, trust me!

Do you REALY think HAkeem was 18 when he got into UH? Do you think Deke is only 38? He is 54, and HAkeem would be on social security by now if he were poor:D

One good thing about this win is all our guards have their above average shooting percentage. The other is the ball movement is pretty good, 24 assists, only 10 turnovers.
