Ron's rotation defense is a joke, he just stood there looking at Farmar, OVERRATED

I don't know how we did it, but we've got the lead after 1.

LOL Artest didn't rotate whatsoever to Farmar. Thankfully he missed the three.

My goodness, Artest is strong. The guy shoot a normal set shot from half court and just barely misses.

Hayes gotta bring his defense today!

I see he's going to be Yao's sub tonight instead of Deke so he's gotta bring his defense and hustle...hopefully Scola can play next to him for about half the qtr and we can bring Yao back in.

    Dang miss Landry :(

JVG also said it best... Yao plays better on BOTH ends of the court when he's actively involved in the offense.

It would be one thing if he was being fronted... but the Lakers are basically playing him one-on-one (just like the Suns were). Sometimes we try to be too cute on offense... I know we have some decent players out there with more skills than Clarence Weatherspoon and Ryan Bowen, but if you're neutralizing Yao (and simply getting him tired), you're not really gaining all that much.

Boston's perimeter rotation defense was the best in the league, look at what that got them,

he sucks regularly. and his defense is overrated. but we need his 3 point shooting.
