We just don't play with any passion in this game saving first quarter. It's a shame.

OK, I don't mind losing, but at least go down fighting.

At least pretend that you care that you're getting your asses kicked and are about to be sent home for the summer.

Maybe, sincee they've never been to the playoffs, they don't realize that they don't get to play more games after they lose a series?

Uhh... I would be more worried about what happens when YOUR team doesn't win the championship.

We weren't built for that this year... you guys were.

And your post reads with an obvious "sigh" of relief that you slipped outta this first round...

I like our upside... where's yours?

That is the worst 3rd quarter I have ever seen.

I like how Yao is soft like Charmin.

I like how Francis tosses up an air-ball with 6 secs on the shot clock from Alaska.

WTF is going on. I turned off my TV. I hate the Lakers.
    I hate the Rockets too.

I hope Minnesota wins it all this year. Sam I am, the Kid, and the Choker.

    Word!

Our players don't have enough talent (in Cato's case), enough smarts (in Steve's case) or enough heart (in Yao's case) to get it done against a team like the Lakers.

However, I will remember this season as the one in which the Rockets finally returns to the playoffs after a five-year drought. Overall it's been a good season. Le'ts hope that we add some more talent next year.

If I don't see a hard foul before this game ends...

I feel like all the progress that the Rockets made in this series is being flushed. I thought we had proven that we weren't going to get steamrolled, and that we could play intense basketball, and that we would improve in playoff games rather than fold. Now this game is going to leave a horrible taste in my mouth for the rest of the summer. This is too painful to watch. I don't know if I will be able make it to the end.

off season time already.. so what trades do we the rockets need to do? i say trade francis and yao .. they suck.. well truth is. francis is not smart enoguh to be a good pg. and yao is not agressive enough to be a good center.. they need to swithc personalities.. francis needs to be more intelligent on his plays since he's the play maker.. and yao needs to grind it up and get mean..

If you are happy with yours, that's all that counts.

Had they been getting blown out from the start, than maybe... but the better team is clicking right now.

In fact, losing like this is a better LEARNING tool than hanging with the Lakers while they're playing bad basketball as well.

Its a perfect metaphor... we're able to hand with them in game two and 5 for one half, and one half only.

    We're halfway there guys...

Mo T is the cancer of this team, he never looks to pass, always force difficult shot.

Nobody played good in this one. No energy from biginning.

That last play, Kobe's dish, is the difference between the Rockets, an irrepressibly stupid team, and a real NBA team. The Lakers run the high pick and roll to perfection. I have seen no evidence that our guards have any idea what the point of the play is. They can't run it, and they certainly can't defend it.

16 minutes into the 2nd half and only 11 points scored. At least we don't have to listen to Bill Walton say how HORRRRRIBBBLEE the Rockets are playing right now.

You got to know, with this year's roster, Rockets can go nowhere next year, no matter how good the coaching stuff is.
