i run the risk of stating the obvious but the rockets have no perimeter d and no rebounding other than yao somebody should foul kobe real hard and send him a message
Any time the opposing team starts to go on a run, Rafer's play goes into the garbage trying to do too much all at once. This is not a quality you want out of a point guard.
This is what happens when you start off with a small player on Kobe. He gets into a comfort zone. Took JVG ages to figure that out. By the time he put Bogans on him, it was too late.
Walton: "Yao Ming doesn't shoot enough free throws" (5 minutes later) Walton: "Yao Ming should pass more... or be in a passing environment." Reason #432 why Walton just says whatever pops in his head, and yet another reason why people who thinks he gives good advice are even more clueless.
Uhh.. Bogans has been guarding him since the 2nd quarter. And, he's not going to stop him, no matter how "big" he is.
Perhaps you need to rewind the game. Kobe scored ATLEAST 3 of his baskets over Head at the beginning of second quarter. Like I said..."comfort zone"
The problem is that in a given game between Bogans and Alston, we miss 10 point blank layups at the rim.
Kobe is a beast. Once he gets in a flow, no matter who you put on him, he'll still make the shot. Kobe has gotten cold and the Rox haven't taken advantage of that. Rafer is playing very bad ball. We need to re-sign Frahm.
